E-Mail from Tazz, Airman in Iraq

I want to share with you an e-mail I got today -- and you've heard me read e-mails from this soldier, this airman in the past. This is the guy who ran the control tower at Baghdad International Airport. He and his boys ended up throwing a faulty French refrigerator off the top shelf of the control tower. He says: Hey Rush,I am scratching my head here. None of this makes any sense...but I wonder what you think about all of this... The national news media shows lots of our American servicemen...

Torture, Democrats and "24"

RUSH: To Atlanta. This is Jay. I'm glad you called, sir. Nice to have you with us.
CALLER: Thank you, Rush. It occurs to me that if "24" is inciting US military personnel to torture and murder --
RUSH: Which is absurd.
CALLER: Well, of course it is.
RUSH: It's just absurd. It's a mainstream media concoction that is filtering down through the rest of the media. It's just absurd.
CALLER: Well, of course it is. To me, perhaps the answer is to do a little inciting of our own,...

Nixon, Bush, Rudy and Conservatism

RUSH: Rudy Giuliani was on Larry King Alive last night. I don't know how many of you people watch this, but the reputation that Larry King Alive has is that it's softball after softball after softball after softball -- and it's true with the aging Hollywood star who hasn't had a hit in 30 years but still is a big favorite of Larry's as a guest, or some liberal Hollywood entertainer or what have you, or somebody from the Drive-By Media. Yes, they get softballs. But you get a guy who's a Republican,...

Drive-by Media Hysteria over "24" Torture

RUSH: I'm going to give you an example of something here. This "24" story in the New Yorker by Jane Mayer starts out innocently enough with who Joel Surnow is and he is a conservative and so forth. You know that's a crime, too, to be a conservative in Hollywood. You gotta raise the red flags over that, and then slowly... When Jane interviewed me -- I knew what I was in for here, by the way. I've been there, done that. She started off innocently enough. "Oh, tell me about your friendship with...

A Dark Day in the History of the U.S. House of Representatives

RUSH: One of the darkest days in the history of the House of Representatives is slated for tomorrow. This is where they're going to vote on this nonbinding resolution, and the "slow bleed" process to take the president out of Iraq. Actually, the process here is to isolate him politically and to limit his ability to maneuver, similar to what happened with the Democrats in the Congress during the Vietnam War with Nixon. They actually never did cut off funding for Nixon, but they did tell him where...

Rush on "The ? Hour News Hour"

RUSH: Folks, I want to apologize. I was told yesterday that the intro to the first episode of "The 1/2 Hour News Hour" would be posted on YouTube sometime yesterday afternoon. It didn't get up there until this morning. It's there now, and it's the open. There are three excerpts. One's a promo for the show. One is a segment of the show on Barack Obama, and the other one, the most recent one posted is the actual open with me as president of the United States and Ann Coulter as vice president....

E-Mail from Tazz, Airman in Iraq

Hey Rush,
I am scratching my head here. None of this makes any sense? but I wonder what you think about all of this?
The national news media shows lots of our American servicemen and women dying over there in Iraq and getting killed, helicopters being shot-down, roadside bombs going off?etc?etc. Yet, when you are there, when you work with Americans and Iraqis who are actively engaged in re-building the country, who are out going after the enemy? there?s this ever-present sense of optimism,...

Story #1: How Mrs. Clinton Can Assure No More Affairs RUSH: For the last couple of days, ladies and gentlemen, I have been trying to get to the bottom of how in the world Mrs. Clinton's going to enforce her claim. When asked about her husband, "Why, what about future scandals?" "I can assure you," she said, "there won't be any," and I have been desperately seeking answers. How can she make this claim? She's made it affirmatively. She made it decisively. She said she couldn't predict the future...
