RUSH: I gotta hear this again, Michael Pfleger, because I’m watching this at the top of the hour after I got off the phone with the climate specialist. I’m watching this guy and, you know, the congregation here at Reverend Wright’s church, at Obama’s church, this congregation is going more nuts for this guy than I ever seen ’em go nuts for Jerry Wright. And I’m watching with Snerdley, and Snerdley says, ‘Yeah, traitors.’ (laughter) Traitors. The congregation is cheering the white pastor more than the black pastor. Anyway, here’s Michael Pfleger. This was visiting reverend, and this was last Sunday.
PFLEGER: When Hillary was crying and people said that was put on, I really don’t believe it was put on. I really believe that she just always thought, ‘This is mine. I’m Bill’s wife. I’m white, and this is mine. I just gotta get up and step into the plate,’ and then out of nowhere came, ‘Hey, I’m Barack Obama,’ and she said, ‘Oh, damn! Where did you come from? I’m white! I’m entitled! There’s a black man stealing my show! Aaarrrgggh.’ She wasn’t the only one crying, there was a whole lot of white people crying.
RUSH: (laughter) Listen to this guy! He sounds just like Jeremiah Wright.
WRIGHT: Barack knows what it means to be a black man living in a country and a culture that is controlled by rich white people! Hillary ain’t never been called a nigger! Bill did us just like he did Monica Lewinsky. He was riding dirty. In white America, US of KKKA, black men turning on black men. I am sick of negroes who just do not get it. Not God bless America, God (bleep) America. It’s in the Bible — for killing innocent people. God (bleep) America. And now we are indignant because of stuff we have done overseas is now brought right back into our own front yards. America’s chickens coming home to roost.

RUSH: That is the visiting Reverend Michael Pfleger at Obama’s church this past Sunday. If I am this church, I ask, ‘Are they trying to sink this guy? Are they trying to sink Obama?’ For crying out loud, after all that has happened, do you think maybe they’d take the cameras out of there or at least shut them down and make sure that there are no audio recorders that the congregation can bring in there? You gotta stop and think about this. This is stupid! Unless there’s a plan here. They must be out to sink Obama at this church, ’cause they know the whole world’s watching. Well, that could be, too. Maybe they’re just selfish. They’re just trying to increase attendance and to hell with Obama. The thing is, this Pfleger guy, he’s right. He stole that from me. I didn’t say it quite that way, but we all know that the Clintons sitting around, you know, shell shocked. ‘What happened to us?’ So anyway, after this, Obama went out there, and he said that he was deeply disappointed. (laughing) Hillary has now responded to Obama.
Obama said he’s ‘deeply disappointed’ in the preacher. Hillary is ‘disappointed’ in Obama’s response. (laughs) It’s not even June yet, folks. It’s not even June. We’ve got the bylaws committee tomorrow and the rules committee. If I’m the Democrat Party, I’m looking at this, and I’m saying, ‘How can we do this?’ They have to know what lies ahead. And, of course, there are these rumors circulating, and I don’t know if this is true, but there are a number of people suggesting — and I first heard this, by the way, when I was gone Monday and Tuesday of last week — that there’s a video and that the Republican Party supposedly has it now of Michelle Obama speaking from the pulpit in this church talking about ‘whitey.’ I don’t care if it’s unacceptable, Snerdley. I’m just reporting what’s out there. I’m reporting on a rumor that is out there. No, I cannot mention… (interruption)
Okay, forget I said ‘Michelle (My Belle) Obama.’ I’ll just say ‘his wife.’ Obama’s wife is out there. There’s a rumor that there’s a tape — the Republicans have it, and we’re waiting to use it in October — of Michelle going nuts in the church, too, talking about whitey this and whitey that. You know, if I’m the Democrats are looking at this, I’m saying… They gotta know they’re sitting on top of a powder keg here, and somebody in this party — Howard Dean or somebody — has gotta send somebody up to this church and say, ‘Well, you people take the next five months off, or move this congregation somewhere? Move it to Reverend Wright’s house — it’s in a gated community — so nobody can know what you’re doing in there. Just give us five months, will you, and shut up!’ You know, the Clintons are — make no mistake about it — making hay out of this, as they lobby the rules committee and so forth.
