Over the weekend, we got another radio propaganda address from the president. To supposedly prevent companies from outsourcing jobs overseas, Obama wants to close "tax loopholes". He also wants to "give tax breaks to American small businesses and manufacturers". Now, those tax breaks would come from using "clean-energy manufacturing," and allowing companies to write off new equipment costs.
It's just another indicator that Obama has no clue about business. With the economy in a shambles (thanks to Democrat policies), it's meaningless to say companies can write off new equipment. Unless there are sales generated by customers in a thriving economy, businesses aren't going to invest in retooling their shops --especially since they're grappling with the added costs of Obamacare.
Out of one side of his mouth, the president talks tax cuts -- if you go along with his "green-energy" nonsense. But from the other side of his mouth, he's insisting on raising taxes on small businesses by letting the Bush tax cuts expire.
The result of all this? Businesses having no confidence that our economy will grow. Add to that, uncertaintyabout future tax burdens and new regulations. With those conditions, businesses will keep sitting on their cash, rather than invest it in jobs or equipment.
The best way to take care of business is to see to it that Democrats are driven from elective office. Then, and only then, will we see widespread confidence return, and our economy finally start to flourish. It's really that simple, folks -- just get rid of the Democrats!
