Rush's Quick Hits

On the Rushwire: Remember That Flock of Seagulls Video on MTV? ... Market Tease Attempt: Obama and Bernanke to Meet ... An Interesting E-Mail Analysis of the Budget ... Hollywood October '12 Surprise: Obama/Osama Movie ... Kansas Returns Health Insurance Exchange Grant ... London Calling: Striking Verizon Union Thug Mischief ...

These Aren't Ordinary Times

RUSH: I must admit that when I read pieces by people I respect and have known and read, I wonder: Why don't they see this? Why is this just the usual, normal ebb and flow political cycling to people? ... How can people on our side not see what's being done to the country via the federal government?

Socialism Created the UK Rioters

Max Hastings: Years of Liberal Dogma Have Spawned a Generation of  Brutalised Youngsters

"Years of liberal dogma have spawned a large, amoral, brutalised sub-culture of young British people who lack education because they have no will to learn, and skills which might make them employable. They are too idle to accept work waitressing or doing domestic labour, which is why almost all such jobs are filled by immigrants. They have no code of values to dissuade them from behaving anti-socially or, indeed, criminally, and small chance of being punished if they do so. They have no sense of responsibility for themselves, far less towards others, and look to no future beyond the next meal, sexual encounter or [soccer] game.

The Reverend Sharpton Reports

SHARPTON:  Tonight is the measure of whether the country begins, in the state of Wisconsin, a national drive to push back or whether we have more to go to build a movement of resistance.  But resist we much... We must and we will much... about ... that ... be committed.

RUSH: This again is Al Sharpton. With the help of Reverend Sharpton, we have a new motto here at the EIB Network: "Resist We Much!"  I'm sure we'll have a great graphic at RushLimbaugh.com later today to illustrate our new motto, "Resist We Much!"  This is Reverend Sharpton last night filling in for Cenk Uygur on MSNBC reporting on the Wisconsin recall election.
