A Reformed Liberal Comes Home

RUSH: That last caller that we had from West Virginia, as I've always said here, folks, an informed citizen is a Democrat's worst nightmare, and this guy did it on his own, and I'll bet you the Constitution was a relevant factor in helping him.

Hillary for President? No Way!

RUSH: Where is this sound bite of me saying Hillary would have been a better leader? I have not once in discussing this, I have not once hoped that Hillary Clinton becomes president. I do not have any desire for Hillary Clinton to become president.

Republicans Should be All Over Obama's Proposed Medicare Cuts

RUSH: You know, the Republicans today ought to be all over Obama's Medicare cuts. It's another $250 billion in Medicare cuts, and the Republicans are taking the heat for these phantom Medicare cuts. They ought to be all over this. But somehow, I don't know, I can only guess, speculate that they have been told by their advisors and pollsters and consultants, "Don't go after Obama. It's not what the American people want. They want people in Washington to get along."

America's Problem is Democrats

RUSH: As long as representatives of liberalism, the American left, the Democrat Party are running the government, it's going to be mismanaged. We're not undertaxed as a people or as a country. Our problem is who's in charge, very simple.

Higher Taxes Do Not Raise Revenue in a Sustainable Way

RUSH: Raising taxes has never increased revenue in a way that is sustainable and lasting and productive. Money only comes from one place. I'm talking about real money, not printed or borrowed or what have you, but money that results from productivity, creation of jobs, creation of products, performance of services or what have you.

The Left Won't Allow Barack Obama to Take Down Liberalism

RUSH: People for the first time in their lives are now realizing that the problems that exist in this country are political problems. Liberals themselves see it, and they have no desire for liberalism to get the blame. Somebody is going to have to take the blame. That person, if he doesn't shape up, is going to be Obama.

We're No Longer Alone: Obama's Tax Lies Refuted Throughout Media

RUSH: I no longer feel alone! For 20, 21 years I was it. We would get a speech by a Democrat like we got from Obama yesterday, I'd be the only guy refuting it. But now everybody's up to speed. Even the Associated Press is fact-checking Obama and finding that he's dead wrong about all of his assertions yesterday about taxes and who pays them.
