RUSH: Elizabeth in Allentown. Great to have you on the program. Hi.
CALLER: Hi, Rush. Just a thought or two, please.
CALLER: Okay. I'm a registered Independent and, since February of this year, I have received eight mailings of two- and three-page letters from the Democratic National Committee, three signed by the president, two signed by Pelosi, and three or four other men associated with that group, all asking for bread. And it makes me think about what is in the letters, which makes me think about my raising as a kid. My Gram always said --
RUSH: Wait a minute, let me ask you a question. You're a registered Independent.
CALLER: I am.
RUSH: And you're getting junk mail from Democrats. Does that not tell you something?
CALLER: Oh, yeah. And that's why I'm thinking about --
RUSH: Don't you think you should be getting junk mail from independents? How are the Democrats getting a hold of you?
CALLER: No, I've never gotten any contribution requests from the Republicans or anybody else.
RUSH: Right. What does that tell you?
CALLER: It makes me think of what my Gram raised me with, and that was you never get close to or be friendly with a liar. Because a liar will thieve and a thief will kill. If that isn't the current administration, I don't know what is.
RUSH: Well, now, now, now, let's go easy on the thievery. (laughing) Oh, yeah, go easy on the thievery, go easy on the thievery allegation. No, what fascinates me about what you're talking about here is, Elizabeth, I mean you're not gonna get away from liars if you're gonna piddle around in politics. But you are a registered Independent, and you're being inundated with Democrat stuff. Now, what does that tell you? You think you're an independent, you sign up as a moderate, registered this or that, and who is bombarding you? The Democrats are. That's quite instructive. In other words, you're registered on the voting registration as independent and who's finding out how to reach you? Democrats are. Very interesting.
