Rush's Stack of Stuff
Do Your Show Prep: Everything Rush reads to prepare for the show.
Some of the topics we're loaded with today:
Dems Spin Gov's Call to Suspend Elections || Solar Scandal || Perry Backs off "Heartless" Insult || EU Eyes Frau Merkel for Bailout

RUSH: "New claims for U.S. jobless benefits fell sharply last week to their lowest level since April although..." There's always an "although" or a "but."
RUSH: On the MSNBC monitor, there was F. Chuck Todd. In the upper left-hand corner of the screen was a small picture of Chris Christie; and right next to it, a small picture next to it -- a small picture of me...
RUSH: Rubio would win in a walkover. He's conservative. He's articulate. He's great-looking. He's Hispanic and sounds very smart. How can he possibly lose? If this were the Democrat Party, the party father would probably tell Obama to step aside and let Rubio run, if Rubio were a Democrat. There are more Hispanic voters now than there are blacks, and Rubio's got more experience than Obama had when he decided to run.
RUSH: I don't have a message for women voters, and I don't have a message for male voters, and I don't have a message for Hispanic voters, and I don't have a message for black voters. I just have a message for voters. Maybe I make the mistake assuming they're all Americans, and I would speak to them that way. But, look, that's why I do this and not that. I listen to political people talk about what they've got to do to win elections, and I just scratch my head.
BEGALA: The iron law of incumbents is the only way to run is to run scared but this president has to run really scared. The data is very bad.
