RUSH: This whole Republican race, it doesn't matter where you go -- I don't care what website you go to, I don't care what network you tune in -- all we're hearing is all the shortcomings of all of these people. I don't care if it's Herman Cain or Bachmann or Romney or Newt, all we're hearing is their shortcomings.

Yes, the retirement of Massachusetts Congressman Barney Frank will leave a wide-open seat for someone to fill. Who may be after Barney’s seat is unknown at least as far as his district is concerned.

RUSH: You traverse our economy and wherever you find a problem, you're gonna also find a union. In most cases, it's gonna be a public employee union.

RUSH: I have the hardest time coming to grips with the fact that people born in this country hate it. I just can't get my arms around that. 

RUSH: Election Day 1980 was fraught with as much anticipation and fear as any election ever is, and yet it ended up being this massive landslide.

RUSH: If you are an American Airlines employee, you've been working all your life thinking that when you retired you're gonna get a pension.  I can understand the anger people have, but here's the difference: I have never in my life expected to be paid after I quit working. 

CALLER: Rush, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for changing the way I think, making me into an optimist, making me into a critical thinker -- and also I was a union worker for 40 years, and I love you.

RUSH: Even if all of these accusations against Herman Cain are proved to be true, Herman Cain has a long way to go to match Bill Clinton's record.
