STEVE SCHMIDT: As President Kennedy pointed out, sometimes when you try to ride the tiger you wind up inside of it. And you've seen this over the last couple of years. Any insult to Rush Limbaugh is greeted with an immediate apology from whatever offending Republican no matter their rank or stature.

RUSH: See, the problem is if I say yes to a request that's all I'm gonna get. Then everybody who calls is gonna ask for something, and then the whole fun's taken out of it.

RUSH: Mitt Romney is not interested in going to the right.

RUSH: Well, you can be your own judge as to what you think she sounds like.

DOWD: This shows actually that this is a nomination that everybody in the Republican Party knows is worth having. They know the president is vulnerable. They know that the president can be beat -- and now that you have basically two titans going at it -- knowing that whoever gets the Republican nomination has a good shot at going to the White House.

REID: I say "so-called job creators." Because I say that, Mr. President, every shred of evidence contradicts this red herring. Millionaire job creators are like unicorns: They're impossible to find, and don't -- don't exist.

RUSH: This stuff with Newt and Romney going back and forth is not necessarily all bad because we're getting educated here. (interruption) No, Snerdley, it's not all bad.

RUSH: Obama has asked Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to give back our drone. He really did! (impression) "Will you, uh, give back our drone? It's our drone! We -- we want it back."
