January 17, 2008, then-Senator Obama told the San Francisco Chronicle: “If somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can. It’s just that it will bankrupt them because they’re going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that’s being emitted.”
RUSH: The actual emotion or passion for changing course, defeating Obama, repealing Obamacare -- it is ratcheting up. It's not weakening. It's not tiring. It's not getting lazy. People are not giving up, but you are not gonna see that evidenced.
RUSH: I told you this is big; it's not getting anywhere near the attention it ought to be getting from the Republicans. UK Daily Mail: "President Barack Obama's 2012 re-election campaign will be the first in modern political history to abandon white working class voters, strategists claim."
RUSH: You remember when we reported not long ago that the news was out that more and more people see Big Government as the big threat, not Wall Street? Well, that only lasted about ten minutes. That's why I'm reminding you of it again now.
RUSH: The media's job from now 'til November is to wear you down. They never sleep.
RUSH: Los Angeles schools have rejected First Lady Michelle Obama's school lunch program.
RUSH: They want a two-month deal so they could bring the argument back up again.
CALLER: I'm a big peach tea fan, Rush, and I cannot thank you enough for actually creating this and my favorite flavor.
CALLER: Rush, I'm just begging you, as an American citizen, to just please reconsider making your message broader through the television.
RUSH: Big Education keeps raising prices. Tuition keeps going up. As we know, the Occupy crowd and a lot of students all over the country are unhappy with the student loan situation. And never once do we hear about the greed of Big Education. Never once do we hear about the millionaires that are the college presidents.
RUSH: If this were a Republican president, folks, we wouldn't be having the argument about whether to extend it for two months or a year. The Republican president would be in the process of being destroyed as somebody who wants to kick senior citizens out of their houses, deny them health care, force them to eat dog food.
RUSH: Go back to just last year, and you can hear Romney totally supportive of the mandate.
