Yes, That's Radar on the Computer Screen
original RUSH: We're in Los Angeles all week, by the way, folks. You people are very clever. You're watching on the Dittocam. "What is that, Rush, on your computer? Is that a weather radar? What is it?" In fact, it's a Southern California weather radar. I'm trying to scope out whether or not I will be able to indeed play golf as planned this afternoon. It's Google's Wonder Map, which should refresh automatically every two minutes. It's not doing that. I haven't had time to set it up properly. Which is why I've got it up there constantly because I've gotta check it manually every two minutes.
Defeated Catholic Democrat Regrets Obamacare Vote
RUSH: Former Democratic Congresswoman Kathy Dahlkemper, a Catholic from Erie, Pennsylvania, voted for Obamacare in 2010. This is from the Weekly Standard, by the way. She lost her seat in the midterms of 2010 in part because she voted for Obamacare. Kathy Dahlkemper, a Catholic from Erie, said recently she "would have never voted for the health care bill had she known that the Department of Health and Human Services would require all private insurers, including Catholic charities and hospitals, to provide free coverage of contraception, sterilization procedures, and the 'week-after' pill 'ella' that can induce early abortions."

Then she's quoted: "I would have never voted for the final version of the bill if I expected the Obama Administration to force Catholic hospitals and Catholic Colleges and Universities to pay for contraception." Now, we must go back to Pelosi who said we have to vote for it to find out what's in it, and we did. A lot of people that read the 2,000 pages knew what was in it, but the Democrats hadn't. Remember, they were using budget reconciliation to pass it. Then they were gonna try just deeming it to have passed. Half these people, more than half the Democrats had no idea what was in this health care bill. I know some of you think the regime has bitten off more than it can chew on this one. Some of you think that the regime has stepped in it here with this. Maybe so. Time will tell.

I do know that they probably got some opposition that they didn't really think they'd get, but I don't think they care. I really don't think they care. They'll do what they have to do to deal with it because winning the election is the primary objective now. They can always relax this and then reimplement it after he wins. I had a guy call me, "What do you think about Obama going the super PAC?" Hey, don't forget, Obama, he lied on campaign financing. Remember, ABC News, Obama to break promise, opt out of public financing for general election, after he'd wrapped up the nomination and then all of a sudden, Obama, "You know what, to hell with this public financing. I don't want any part of it." He starts out by saying he's gonna take it, then he backs out of it. So it's not a big deal that Obama would change his mind on the super PACs at all.
Where's Bart Stupak?
RUSH: Anybody sought out Bart Stupak? Anybody remember the name "Bart Stupak," by any chance? Anybody ask Bart Stupak about his views on this Obama mandate regarding contraception and abortion pills? Because remember: Bart Stupak was the decisive vote for Obamacare after he was promised it wouldn't involve abortion one way or the other. I'll never forget Stupak got set up as the go-to guy, and he loooooooved every minute of it. Bart Stupak, Obamacare hangs in the balance! He said he was a "pro-life" Democrat, an oxymoron. Stupak says, "I'm holding out! I'm not voting for it. If this involves abortion in any way, I'm outed here." Somebody call Bart Stupak, and ask him what he thinks of this.
More UK Children Wet Themselves
RUSH: From the BBC: "More Pupils Wetting Themselves, Say Teachers -- More children are starting school before they are fully toilet trained, teachers say.  A snapshot survey suggests many primary school staff are noticing a rise in the number of children wetting or soiling themselves. The online survey of 848 staff for the Association of Teachers and Lecturers suggested the main cause was a lack of toilet training," which means there are gonna be fewer left-handed people, by the way.  If there's less toilet training going on in Europe, you have fewer left-handers.  Everybody knows that.
