I came across a news item so routine that ordinarily I wouldn’t give it any thought at all. But buried in this routine story is a valuable point, if you know what you’re looking at -- of course I do.

RUSH: No, no, no.  It's not time to put a stop to it, anoint anybody and say that we're done.

RUSH: Why would the Ron Paul campaign get a month-old ad and post it on YouTube as though it's new as of today?

RUSH: An e-mail signal rang on the iPhone. I looked at it, and it was the news that Olympia Snowe is retiring.

RUSH: I just checked the e-mail during the break. I found an interesting one. Let me share it with you. It probably reflects the thinking and the feelings of many of you.

CALLER: Hey, Mr. Limbaugh! I'm gonna tell you what a big fan I am by telling you that I'm wishing you liberal, left-wing, bleeding heart, knee-jerk, yellow dog Democrat dittos.

RUSH: I don't think it's coincidental; it has to do with the results out of Michigan.  I don't know what the expectations were and I don't know what specifically in Michigan it's tied to.  But there's a noted gloom out there.

RUSH: "White House Wants to Keep Gas Prices High." Have you heard about this? Steven Chu, the Nobel Prize-winning energy chief for Obama, actually said so!

CALLER:  You know what?  We didn't give up.  And now we're old enough to have the money and the time to do this right.  And we've got something we didn't even have in the eighties.  We have the Internet.  We have Newtsnetwork.com. We have Newt.org.  We have his Facebook page.  We have a thousand ways for people to get involved that doesn't require knocking on doors.  And we're doing it.  We're having a ball.

RUSH: When I watched Romney's speech, you know what I thought it was?  It sounded to me like an acceptance speech.

RUSH: So, "The private [health insurance] market is in a death spiral." It's over. Kathleen Sebelius.
