One big oil company, Royal Dutch Shell, has apparently had enough of being bullied by the left.

RUSH: Those two words were inappropriate. They were uncalled for. They distracted from the point that I was actually trying to make, and I again sincerely apologize to Ms. Fluke for using those two words to describe her.

RUSH: Advertisers who have split the scene have done very well due to their access to you, my audience, from this program. To offer their products and services to you through this venue is the best opportunity that they have ever had to advertise their wares. Now they've chosen to deny themselves that access, and that's a business decision, and it's theirs alone to make. They've decided they don't want you or your business anymore. So be it.

RUSH: Integrity, self-reliance, rugged individualism, things that made this country great, things which define the institutions and traditions that made this country great.  They're all under assault by people who actually hold you in contempt.

RUSH: The president and his fellow Democrats have made women a focus of their campaigns of late, precisely because they wish to change the subject.

RUSH: General Motors shut down Volt production until April because nobody's buying them.  And so to fit the meme that had been established last week, it's my fault.  And why is it my fault?  Because I've made fun of the Volt.

RUSH: We're losing the country, and what is frustrating to me is that so many people don't see it, and those who do are not willing to do anything about it. Everybody's scared.  Everybody's frightened of what's gonna happen to them. Everybody's afraid of the Democrat Party.  That's where the fear in this country is. Everybody's afraid of the government.

RUSH:  Every minority, according to the left -- every minority in the country -- is a victim of a tyrannical majority.

CALLER: I think I was, you might say, a "Senior Rush Baby." I had been registered with our opposition party all my life, and since then I've changed my politics. I've become somewhat of an armchair activist whenever I can.

RUSH: There's a Republican primary going on. You may not know this...

KLEIN: Now, I'm all in favor of contraception, but I think that this is a major overstepping of the state's role.

RUSH:  Whoa.  Joe Klein.  State-Controlled TIME Magazine. 

RUSH: "The Hustler magazine publisher placed a full-page ad in Sunday's Washington Post, offering upward of $1 million for any information about 'infidelity, sexual impropriety or corruption concerning a US senator, congressperson or prominent government official.'" Now, what's unstated is that he will only use it if it's a Republican.

RUSH: Obama says I don't bluff?  Well, the Iranians think it's a bluff, pure and simple.
