RUSH: It just confirms everything that we've said over the years about the left, and that is when they're in trouble -- and that's most of the time -- when it comes to time for reelection, they go conservative. They try to claim the mantel for themselves.
RUSH: It ought to be clear, folks. It ought to be obvious that Barack Obama does not want to create jobs. He wants to create welfare recipients.
RUSH: Romney is gonna have to look at Obama the way he tarred Newt and the way he tarred Santorum. I don't care whether he does it with his super PACs or whether he does it himself. But Obama's not black. He's not Martian. He's not white. He is The Destructor, and he's gotta be stopped in order for the country to be the country Romney thinks it is.
RUSH: People are giving up their Social Security numbers and their bank routing numbers, account numbers on the premise that Obama is going to be paying off their electric bills.
RUSH: We used to live in a country where people wanted to be successful. People wanted to be millionaires. Today, we live in a country where people want to receive a government check, and wanting to be a millionaire is said to be bad.
RUSH: People don't have to fall in love with our candidates, and they don't have to be media darlings in order to win, as has been demonstrated. They just have to be responsive and loyal to their own traditions and policies.
RUSH: I'll go back to the story about my father. I remember the first time I got fired. (groans) Folks, you would have thought that I had -- in perpetuity -- dishonored the family name.
