Scores of Women Show Up at Romney-Ryan Rally, Andrea Mitchell Stunned... CBO: Drilling in ANWR Could Yield Billions in State, Federal Revenue...Left-Wing Media Hacks to Moderate Debates.... Seasoned Citizens Donate to Ryan...
RUSH: I was praying that at some point this campaign becomes one of ideology, one of ideas, one of principles, not just policy analysis, not just Electoral College analysis, but principles and ideas. I think they work. I think they have the ability, properly articulated, to be persuasive. And we have perhaps the best Republican to do that in Paul Ryan.
RUSH: They're going to have to explain why his plan will cause Grandma to be eating dog food. And when they are forced to explain that, what are they doing? They are discussing specifics, and they will be lying, which opens up the opportunity for it to be refuted. And in the process, that brings Obama's record to the fore.
RUSH: We now have somebody on the ticket who's us. Somebody's on the ticket who can explain all of this, who believes all of this in his heart and in his soul.
RUSH: If Medicare's the most important thing in your life, and you're over 55, Paul Ryan lets you keep it as it is forever. That's it. Nothing happens to you. Zip, zero, nada. If Obama and Obamacare are fully implemented, you are up the creek, because hello death panels, hello cutbacks, hello all kinds of changes, hello bankruptcy.
RUSH: Rachel Maddow, the left trumpets her as the smartest, the most able, the most articulate, the most brilliant, shining star pundit on the left.
RUSH: Let me give you an example of what I mean when I say that it's great that we have a campaign now that's gonna be based on ideas, ideology.
RUSH: I'm desperate for people like you to learn the truth... The subprime mortgage crisis is the foundation of the economic collapse, and it was brought to us by the Democrat Party.
RUSH: So both Obama and Biden are going out of their way to talk about what "decent" men Romney and Ryan are? We're not even a week removed from Obama accusing Romney of killing a guy's wife!
RUSH: Ryan said, "My mom is a Medicare senior in Florida. Our point is, we need to preserve their benefits because government made promises to them that they've organized their retirements around. Now, in order to make sure we can do that, you must reform it for those of us who are younger, and we think these reforms are good reforms. They have bipartisan origins. They started from the Clinton commission in the late nineties."
RUSH: We had Reagan for eight years; we had Bush for four, then Bush for eight. We've had the Republicans running the House. There's been ample opportunity for Republicans to kick seniors out of their houses. It hasn't happened. I mean ample opportunity for the Republicans to cut and eliminate Social Security. It hasn't happened. Plenty of opportunity for Republicans to wipe out Medicare. It hasn't happened. So people who are paying attention know full well that none of these allegations ever come true.
RUSH: Isn't this amazing how they all get the same fax? They get the same talking points, every one of these people.
