Romney Speech Could be Least-Watched Acceptance in TV History ... Obama Follows Romney to New Orleans ... Interesting Polling Out of Missouri ...
RUSH: By the end of last night, it had become Mitt Romney's convention. I think it has become Mitt Romney's party, and I think it has become Mitt Romney's cause.
RUSH: At 12:30 last night, somebody on behalf of Obama (and for all I know it was Obama himself) tweeted a picture of Obama in an official presidential chair.
RUSH: This has not been reported on much. I haven't seen it anywhere. I got a secret e-mail yesterday afternoon... I'm sure this is what they've got in the White House, and this is why they're panicked.
RUSH: Look, folks, it's never been that I want them to say he's a bad guy. I did sort of blanch when I thought they were gonna say he's a good guy. A good guy does not accuse you of causing another man's wife to die of cancer.
RUSH: Van Jones is an Obamaite. This is a heads-up of what this convention is gonna be like.
RUSH: Every one of these speakers had a story like this, a quintessential American story. This is what this country has always been, and this is what's under assault. This is what Obama, the Democrats, don't want people to believe is possible anymore.
RUSH: People like Al Hunt and Charlie Rose are gonna make sure that as far as anybody knows, Hispanics hate Republicans and wouldn't dare become one! Yet there are more elected Hispanic Republicans than there are Democrats.
RUSH: Where are all the acts of generosity by Obama? Look at what we heard about Romney all week long. Quiet, compassion, generosity. Where are the similar stories about Barack Obama?
ROMNEY: Tonight that American flag is still there on the moon, and I don't doubt for a second that Neil Armstrong's spirit is still with us -- that unique blend of optimism, humility, and the utter confidence that when the world needs someone to do the really big stuff, you need an American.
