RUSH: We got a call from Stuttgart, Germany, that I want to get to quick. It’s Robert, and we are happy to have you on the program. Hello, sir.

CALLER: Hey, there, Rush. Mega dittos. Apple and cigar-loving dittos from the home of Mercedes.

RUSH: Thank you very much. I appreciate the call.

CALLER: Well, thanks for taking it. It’s a real pleasure for me. I called because we had a fantastic customer service experience from Two If By Tea. I ordered for myself and for some other folks stateside some of the blueberry iced tea when it came out. It wasn’t clear on the website at the time, but we had a delay and they told me APO addresses over here in Europe are not considered free shipping, but after, I think because of the time difference, going through a couple of days worth of e-mails, they said, “Well, hey, we’ve delayed you long enough. We’re gonna go ahead and just pay for it this time, no shipping, and, by the way, here’s a free case of tea.” So we got our blueberry, which is my favorite tea and my wife, God love her, she’s not your biggest fan, but she said that your blueberry iced tea was the cat’s meow.

RUSH: Well, we’re close to getting her won over. First step.

CALLER: I hope so.

RUSH: First step. Here you are in a land of beer calling to tell us how much you like our tea. That’s fabulous. That’s absolutely terrific. And look, we have some people in the Two If By Tea customer service department who are some of the best people in the world. Elizabeth runs that department. I don’t know if that’s who you spoke to or dealt with, but I appreciate all these comments, ’cause that’s something that we spend a lot of time on, is customer service.

CALLER: You made a believer out of me.

RUSH: Well, that’s our direct link to people and the customer, and I just love having it validated with calls like yours. But I’m also happy to know that we are giving away the tea. I need to look into that. (laughing)

CALLER: Just the one time they told me, but the delay, I guess, is what prompted that and what they did was they did a good marketing ploy. They sent a second case, but it was a different flavor.

RUSH: Oh, it’s great marketing, give the product away? There’s no better marketing ploy. You’re absolutely right.

CALLER: We didn’t even know we liked peach, and that’s my second favorite now.

RUSH: (laughing) Well, look. That’s a great story. I’m really glad that you were able to get through all the way from Stuttgart and happy to hear the story because it’s something we spend a lot of time on at Two If By Tea. It’s a direct link to the customers and people in this audience, and it’s great to hear that you had such a pleasant experience with it.

CALLER: As an active duty service member, I thank you for your service to our country.

RUSH: Well, we all have our roles, and everybody here has profound love and respect for what you do and the choices you’ve made. You volunteered, so everybody understands that and has great appreciation for you, too.

CALLER: Thanks for the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation support. I’m not a Marine, but I appreciate anything that folks do voluntarily on behalf of the military.

RUSH: When are you coming home?

CALLER: We should cycle back next summer.

RUSH: Next summer.

CALLER: Oh, yeah.

RUSH: Well, it’s great to have you in the audience, glad you got through, and thanks very much. All the best to you.

CALLER: Thank you, sir.

RUSH: I’d offer you an iPad or iPhone, but you already got free tea. (laughing) Just kidding. Hey, folks, that’s Robert from Stuttgart, Germany.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: We had a great call today from Stuttgart, Germany, a military member who wanted to praise our tea customer service, and he said the blueberry was his favorite. That reminds me, we have a new Patriot of the Month. We do this at the Two If By Tea Web page, TwoIfByTea.com. We got a new Patriot of the Month that’s showcased on the Hall of Patriots page. Just go to TwoIfByTea.com and find the Hall of Patriots page. Sisters Elizabeth and Michaela are our patriots of the month. TwoIfByTea.com, the Hall of Patriots page. We’re doing a lot of fun things there.

Of course, we got the video project going on. People go out there and give the tea to liberals and watch ’em go nuts liking it. They don’t know whose tea it is, and then you show ’em the label, the bottle, and watch their faces fall open, say, “You’ve been Limbaugh’d.” So we got a lot of fun things going on there, and we’ve had a fun day today. And, folks, we needed a fun day today. We needed a fun day. I needed a fun day. It was a fun day, and we still made it matter. That’s what we do here. We combine all these different elements into one hard hitting presentation found nowhere else in major media.
