The House “Gang of Six” has come up with “six tenets” of their new “progressive” tax policy. When you boil it down, it’s the same old drivel liberals always spout: raising taxes on achievers, attacking corporations, confiscating wealth and redistributing it.

RUSH: The reason I'm confused is because I don't know if Belcher playing football caused him to murder his girlfriend or if the gun caused him to murder his girlfriend.  Because we're hearing from leftist social reformers that both situations are possible.

RUSH: The American dream was about freedom of opportunity... You had a chance. It has now morphed into an expectation. And if it isn't provided, or if it doesn't happen, then people feel cheated. They are told that the country's unfair and unjust, and so they join the people who protest the capitalist nature of the country in favor of somebody's promise that everybody can have everything they want.

RUSH: The inference is clear. In 1956, the British population accepted their lot in life. Whatever they were born to, that was it.  This guy saw that there were people around the world not living that way -- it didn't matter what they were born into, they were gonna be somebody -- and that place was America.

RUSH: Here's F. Chuck Todd, NBC/HBO, telling us how smart this Obama aide is for realizing that with the Republicans and the way Washington is today, there'd still be slavery if not for the Democrats.  

RUSH: So Snerdley has been telling me how to get started, if I actually did buy an hour of national TV time to speak to the nation. And the purpose of that would be to reach low-information voters, people that are not and do not see things the way we do. Snerdley said, "Look, it's real simple..."
