RUSH: This is Angela, Northern Virginia. Great to have you on the EIB Network. Hi.

CALLER: Christmas cookie baking dittos, Rush.

RUSH: Well, thanks. We’re gonna be doing that in the house tonight, baking all kinds of stuff. For other people, of course, not for me.

CALLER: Yes, exactly. Well, I think that many of us already know the liberals have been using taxpayer public dollars to indoctrinate and to social engineer a significant part of our society.

RUSH: That’s right.

CALLER: We know that decades ago liberals bought and courted community leaders and pastors and created urban sections of the city newspapers and hired minority reporters. We know this has been going on a long time.

RUSH: That’s right.

CALLER: Until conservatives I think are willing to do nation building in our own nation with private sector dollars, which mean our own dollars, to capture the heart and minds of low-information voters —

RUSH: You know, this is an interesting point, Angela. There’s a professor of law at the University of Tennessee named Glenn Reynolds, and he has a column today saying that Republicans are wasting money buying advertising. That what they need to do is sort of what you’re saying, go out and actually buy some media. He uses as an example women’s magazines. He says, if you don’t believe me, go get a Redbook, go get a Ladies’ Home Journal from this past summer. Go get any one of those things and, yeah, you’ll see the usual stories on makeup and hair and that stuff, but you’ll also see, guaranteed, at least in every issue one or two stories bashing Republicans and building up Obama and the Democrats. Of course, the audience for these magazines is targeted largely to single women, but women in general.

CALLER: Well, Rush, see, what I’m seeing is that, you know, many of the Democrats, people that vote Democrat, they don’t even understand that a lot of the engineering or the moral decline that we see in our country is because of liberal engineering. A lot of the stuff —

RUSH: Angela, can I ask you a question? Do you think they even care about the moral decline?

CALLER: Yes. Absolutely. I know that a lot of people care. They just don’t know what to do or know where to go. They don’t even know what the causation is. And I think, really, if we’re going to save our country, if our country is worth it to us, we will invest in making sure that these people know who and what the Democrat Party is, what type of engineering they have been doing. We’re gonna have to do it.

RUSH: I’m all for that and the Republican Party has refused to do it. The Republican Party has refused to identify the opposition. They have refused to explain what it is we’re up against.

CALLER: Well, Rush, we’re gonna have to decide ourselves. I think conservatives are just going to have to decide that we want to go into these communities, and I keep saying that over and over again, because we stand outside and point about these communities and they’re not voting for us, we don’t know how to reach them, and I think because we’re not willing to spend and invest. Now, we know that the Democrats use taxpayer dollars. They’ve been using it in the school systems. They’ve been using it for the after-school programs. They’ve been using it in a lot of these newspapers that they buy up and court some of the pastors and preachers. They’ve been using a lot of taxpayer dollars, and even in the stimulus, they’ve been using all of that to indoctrinate, to just social engineer a lot of people and again, in turn, we have a lot of people that just cannot understand why it is their children have to go to these schools and be taught that two men marrying or two women marrying is the right thing. Why is it that their children are being taught these things, and their vote is the reason why they’re children are being taught these things.

RUSH: Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. I’m not being facetious. Please, don’t misunderstand my tone here.

CALLER: Okay.

RUSH: I don’t intend there to be a tone. Are you really telling me that these people don’t understand the Democrat Party’s behind that?

CALLER: Exactly right. That’s exactly what I’m telling you. And I’m saying this from experience, Rush. I’ve been —

RUSH: Well, who do they think is?

CALLER: Republicans —

RUSH: Republicans are pushing Heather Has Two —

CALLER: Yes.

RUSH: Wait a minute. They think Republicans are pushing all this moral decay, or what —

CALLER: Yes. Yes. And I tell you, something —

RUSH: Wait a minute. How can that be? Because the Republicans are homophobes, Angela, the Republicans are said to be homophobes and racist. How in the world can Republicans be blamed, at least for the homosexual stuff you describe?

CALLER: Well, what I’m saying is that they believe that a lot of this stuff is just another type of — when you have people teaching victimization, they think it’s another way to victimize the black community or victimize this community or that community, and the —

RUSH: Okay, well, I get that.

CALLER: — only people interested in victimizing communities are Republicans, are conservatives. And I tell you, I’ve been voting conservative or Republican for about 15 years, and before that time, the things that I thought about the Democrat Party, once I found out the truth, I was disappointed in myself, but I was more disappointed in people who I thought knew better, that did not teach me so that I would know better —

RUSH: Angela, how did you find out? How did you find out that the Democrats were doing this? Fifteen years ago you said you were shocked and surprised. How did you learn?

CALLER: Well, I’m kind of embarrassed to say it, but I started paying attention. It was as simple as that.

RUSH: But to what? What was it that got your attention?

CALLER: Well, I started watching the House and the Senate on CSPAN. And whenever I saw Sheila Jackson Lee and the Maxine Waters, and I thought they were my heroes. I’m ashamed to say it. I am ashamed and embarrassed to say it, but I did. And they were arguing why should they legislate that young girls should be able to cross state lines to get abortions, and their argument, I could not believe, I couldn’t believe it. All that time I thought that they were on the floor of Congress arguing to make sure that black people don’t —

RUSH: I’m running out of time but I’ve gotta ask you this. Do the people that you’re talking about consider abortion to be part of the moral decline?

CALLER: Yes.

RUSH: They can’t associate that with Republicans.

CALLER: They do, Rush, they do because, again, as long as it’s about victimization, they want black people to kill themselves. There’s a lot of things that people simply don’t know because we let other people go into their communities during election time and say, “They want to turn back the hands of time.” They think that’s all the issue there is. They want to turn back the hands and put you back in chains. That’s what they think —

RUSH: I believe that. No, no, I believe that. I guess I’m getting too specific. When you say that they believe that Republicans want the black population to eliminate itself, I can believe they’re taught that.

CALLER: Yep.

RUSH: And that they believe it. I just never associated it with abortion. Republicans need to hire you, Angela.

CALLER: Well, I think that we need to hire ourselves into the communities and show them who and what the Democrat Party really is. I am convinced that — and I know a lot of people who vote Democrat, and I’m telling you, they think I’m crazy, they won’t listen at me, they’re telling you anything, that’s not true.

RUSH: I know. I hear you. He-he-he. I hear you. I know exactly what you’re talking about. Angela, look, it’s Christmastime. I want to give you a Christmas present you can obviously use. You will put it to use. Let me give you your choice, okay? I have MacBook Pro computers, I’ve got iPads, iPad Minis and iPhone 5s. What would you like?

CALLER: The first one, the lap book pro?

RUSH: Okay, a 13-inch or 15-inch?

CALLER: Bigger is better.

RUSH: Take the 15-inch then.

CALLER: Yes, sir.

RUSH: Okay. You hang on and we’ll get your address and we’ll FedEx it out to you tomorrow. Don’t go away. Mr. Snerdley will get your address here.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Did you get Angela’s address? We need about a thousand or a couple thousand more of her out there. She’s really good.
