In November, voters in Long Beach, California, voted to require hotels with over 100 rooms to pay employees a so-called “living wage” of $13.00 an hour. The new law goes into effect next week.

RUSH: We're living the collapse.  We're living the implosion of our culture and our society.  Politically, morally, religiously, you name it.

RUSH: The deadliest school attack in this country -- deadliest school attack in American history -- was in 1927. That was the Bath School murders. Thirty-eight children and seven adults were killed, including the killer himself. Oh. He didn't use guns. He used dynamite.

RUSH: Isn't that how the homeless became homeless?  They used to be institutionalized and a bunch of liberals came along and said, "They have rights! You can't keep them there"?

RUSH:  I do not come to this program today thinking I know what to do about this, and I don't want anybody to assume that I'm sitting here thinking I have the answers, 'cause I don't.  I think I have some pretty good theories as to why we are where we are in our culture, but how to stop this? I'm not qualified.

RUSH: Go to a gun store and tell 'em you want an assault weapon, and the guy will look around and show you his entire inventory and say, "Pick one." There's no such category.

RUSH: So now we have to raise taxes on the rich for a new reason, so that there is not an undue tax burden on parents with disabled children, which would include mentally disabled, which is meant to mean Adam Lanza-type children.
