Privacy, freedom, are cute concepts but school funding is about real dollars and cents. And to liberals, nothing trumps cold, hard taxpayer cash!

RUSH: The Pelosi plan of last April, that's what Boehner's adopted. That's what he sent to the White House, and they've already rejected it.  The Pelosi plan! 

RUSH: Maybe if I move out to avoid taxes and explain how much I pay and how many people I employ and all this, people will love me more!

RUSH:  People's emotional reservoirs only hold so much.  Fever pitch emotion subsides after a while.  I'm gonna make a prediction.  And of course I don't know; no one can.  And I'm by no means certain, but I wouldn't be surprised if by the time legislative bodies get around to serious legislation infringing on the Second Amendment, the emotional pitch that exists today will have evaporated. 

RUSH: The middle class is going to see their taxes go up, and the reason is, that's where the bulk of the money is. 

RUSH: The deaths to gun violence in the city of Chicago, pick a week, any week in the last three months.  Add 'em up over a month.  It dwarfs what happened in Newtown, Connecticut.  

RUSH: I'll bet you don't hear much about this story outside of this program.

RUSH: There are no tax cuts being talked about... What Obama and the Democrats are trying to make people believe is that there is a tax cut for the middle class waiting to happen in the new year, but the Republicans might screw it up by not agreeing to a deal.
