Publishers of the Santa Barbara News-Press have been in a lengthy dispute with some of their reporters.

RUSH: All the smart people said that independents were the key, and independents went for Romney big time. But he still lost because the low-information voters actually preferred the zonked-out, uninterested Obama spouting cliches.
RUSH: This is how Republicans lose. They move to the left. They get embarrassed of who they are. They become afraid of espousing conservative principles, and they move to the left, and they water themselves down, and they lose.

RUSH: We have more opportunity to be informed than we've ever had in this country, and if you aren't informed it means you don't want to be. Maybe I'm wrong about that, but you have to work at not being informed in this country.
RUSH: Obama is about destroying his political opposition. Any good politician is about that! The Republicans are not about that. The Republicans are into this mode that we gotta get along with them, because that's what they think low-information or independent voters want is everybody getting along.
RUSH: I'm not gonna announce the names here, but we're gonna be calling either today or tomorrow to announce it to these people. So keep a sharp eye. You never know. It could be you!
RUSH: The way you would have to ask this question is this. You got Rubio on, and you say, "Well, Senator, explain to me why it is that raising taxes on the Kardashians or on Snooki isn't gonna help anybody."
RUSH: Wherever the media goes and makes a big deal out of something, people want to be part of it, because then they want to think of themselves as being part of it and part of the solution.
