Here in America, when a few political activists demand free birth control from the government, Democrats frame objections as a “war on women.” In other parts of the world, there really is a war on women. And it is a war to the death.

RUSH: Open Line Friday where your host, El Rushbo -- that's me, for you low-information voters -- takes the biggest show biz career risk since Beyonce left Destiny's Child. 

RUSH: He said the American people understand economics now. There aren't any low-information Americans on the economy... We thought we'd put the theory that the American people understand economics now, Ali Velshi's theory, to the test. 

RUSH: Here's Oliver Stone telling how life has so improved under Marxist socialism in Venezuela, and it's exactly what Obama is doing here: Raising the standard of living in America. 

RUSH: Now, imagine, if you will, if a state legislator had written a blog post targeting the freedoms of gays or targeting the freedoms of women or some other minority...

RUSH: The average Democrat who was out there applauding the tax increase on the rich discovered smaller take-home pay in his first paycheck.  

RUSH: I don't think that there is a person in American media who has done more to illuminate and explain who the Democrats are and what they're doing and how they're getting away with it than I have. I don't think there's anybody that could even come close.

RUSH: If you go to Washington, you know what? Every restaurant's open. Every restaurant's profitable. All the shops are open. The unemployment in Washington and the surrounding environs is 3%. Washington's where all the money is, and everybody in Washington is doing well, and nobody's being fired.

RUSH: The idea would be that the US Mint would create a bunch of these trillion-dollar platinum coins that Obama would order deposited at the Fed, who would then put the coins in the Treasury so they could pay all their bills to avoid a default. 

RUSH: There are not gonna be any spending cuts.  We're not gonna get entitlement cuts.  Who in the world thinks that?  What are they smoking? 

RUSH: AP and the Obama State-Controlled Media are reporting 155,000 jobs and an unchanged 7.8% unemployment rate. But it's up for women and minorities and really up for young people, particularly black young people where it's 22%.

RUSH: Warren Buffett's tax rate will remain lower than his secretary's.
