Here’s another Obama decision that “sounds good” to leftist radicals, but hasn’t been thought out.

RUSH:  Well, I think we can say, ladies and gentlemen, that my New Year's resolution to keep and adopt a lower profile is out the window.  

RUSH: Please don't ever doubt me. For the president to weigh in on this -- exactly as I predicted the left would attack the game -- means that it is already a fait accompli.

RUSH: In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, we saw the ongoing misery for months afterward. The news anchors were all over the place in New Orleans.

RUSH: They have to take their shots at me, but then they end up saying I've got a point.

RUSH: You know, the timing here is interesting.  I think within the first week, maybe two, in 2009, Obama convened a meeting at the White House of the congressional leadership, House and Senate, Republican, Democrat.  And he said to John Boehner and Eric Cantor, "You can't listen to Rush Limbaugh.  That's not the way things get done." 

RUSH: I don't know why he thinks that I said his bosses made him do it or wrote it for him or any such thing. That was never the intimation.

RUSH:  He has had no real-world experience in health care. In terms of energy, here's a guy who's telling everybody that you need to drive this kind of car. We need to get rid of oil and replace it with windmills and solar panels.  And he doesn't have the slightest idea what he's talking about.  He is simply advancing political agendas.

RUSH: The Republicans have bought the idea that they're never gonna win anything if they don't relax the perceived position they have on immigration. And what is the perceived position? The perceived position is, among Hispanics and the Hispanic political organizations, that Republicans are racists!

RUSH: CBS News ran a piece on how the Constitution can be kind of old-fashioned. What do we need it for anymore? It's the same thing with any other laws that people don't like.
