I guarantee: 90 percent of you, or more, haven’t heard a peep about the story I’ve got for you today. And if you get your news from the state-run media, pay attention here because you’ll never hear it there.
A man who pioneered the first hybrid cars, the “Father of the Prius,” Takeshi Uchiyamada has an announcement. He now says the billions that have been poured into developing battery-powered electric vehicles have been spent in vain.
Father Prius explains: “Because of its shortcomings, driving range, cost, and recharging time, the electric vehicle is not a viable replacement for most conventional cars.” Father Prius doesn’t think it is a problem that can be solved. “We need something entirely new,” he says.
This is a major embarrassment for the left; Father Prius is admitting something that I’ve been telling you for 15 years or more. Electric cars are duds. Except for golf carts, on golf courses, they were always duds. And they’re never going to replace real cars that run on fossil fuels. Provided by Big Oil.
This news can’t be going over well in the White House. Electric cars are a key component of Obama’s “green” schemes. Along with dumping tens of billions of dollars into now-bankrupt green energy companies, owned by his campaign donors.
Obama is an expert on failure. Liberalism promotes and rewards failure. And every day, there’s more proof!
