Rhode Island ties Nevada for the worst unemployment rate in the country, 10.2 percent. Things are so bad that the state Labor Department laid off 67 workers, including about a third of the people who staffed the unemployment call center.

RUSH: It's not just the kooks on Twitter and Facebook, it's now the liberals on CNN who are attaching legitimacy and value to Christopher Dorner. 

RUSH: CNN got caught on this, and they tried to say, "Come on, lighten up.  We were just doing satire."  The last time CNN did satire was -- they've never done satire.  CNN doesn't know satire when they see it.  CNN doesn't recognize satire.  They're incapable of performing or executing satire, and particularly Wolf Blitzer, who, if it weren't for his varicose veins, would be totally colorless.

RUSH: I have to tell you, though, in all candor, I think she looks pretty good for her age.  She's gotta be over 110.  

RUSH: There's not a Republican who can pull this off because to pull this kind of thing off as Obama is, you need a totally compliant and slavish media, totally on your side and willing to carry your water and your message and your talking points each and every day.  And then you need no conscience.

RUSH: I'll give you another example of how Obama is never governing -- never governing, always campaigning, always fighting those powerful forces...

JONES: Marco Rubio is dangerous for Democrats. He is dangerous. I was so glad he picked up that water bottle, because where he was going, he was getting emotional.

BLOOMBERG: Styrofoam increases the cost of recycling by as much as $20 per ton because it has to be removed. Something we know is environmentally destructive that is costing taxpayers money, and that is easily replaceable, I think is something we can do without.
