Due to the destruction by Superstorm Sandy, the New Jersey town of Avon needs a new boardwalk. Enter the environmentalist wackos...
RUSH: Bob Woodward attacked Obama today, saying that Obama's decision not to deploy an aircraft carrier because of budget cuts that haven't even happened yet is a kind of madness... Now, if he's saying that, what else is he thinking? He's right if you stop and think about this. Not just releasing 30,000 illegals, but now not deploying an aircraft carrier. I mean, this is the infantile, immature, childish rant of a spoiled brat. It's really uncanny. In my lifetime it is unprecedented, and it is a kind of madness.
RUSH: She is a ranking, powerful Democrat. She is constantly on CNN and other networks doing commentary and strategic analysis for the Democrat Party. She actually tweeted, "Just got off the phone with my health care provider asking them to explain why my premium jumped up. No good answer."
RUSH: I have managed to find myself inserted into a mayoral campaign in Stamford, Connecticut, even though I have said nothing about it and, in fact, didn't know anything about it. But I supposedly endorsed one of the candidates, and the guy I didn't endorse is ripping the hell out of the guy that I didn't endorse because it was reported on Facebook that I did endorse. It's hilarious. Even when I'm not someplace, I'm there -- and even when I'm not involved at all, I am the deciding figure.
RUSH: They take me to task for somehow not being fully supportive of Michelle Obama's hijacking of the Academy Awards. In fact, they get mad at me for referring to it that way.
RUSH: Clearly, if you see a headline: "Senate GOP Ponders Shifting Power to Obama," and if that's all you read, you'd be forgiven if you thought that it meant the Republicans are caving in, giving up, surrendering. "Go ahead, Barack, you do it!" But I have a different take.
RUSH: Barack Obama is employing tactics that have been used by people like Nicolae Ceausescu, Saddam Hussein, and Fidel Castro.
RUSH: While Obama runs around and claims the country was founded immorally and unjustly, the truth of the matter is that they're doing everything they can to eliminate morality.
REID: It's significant that 150 years after president Abraham Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation, we're still considering in film and photo and art and activism how to eradicate slavery's unsavory successors: racism and inequality.
RUSH: Now, you know what's odd about this, folks? The sequester's big news in the Drive-By Media, it's practically all they're talking about, and only 25% of the American people are following it.
RUSH: What Carney tried to say was that there's so much panic in the bureaucracies over the upcoming spending cuts -- these massive spending cuts -- that they're practically panicking, and they're doing things that nobody is aware of until they do 'em. Man!
CALLER: We are out a week of pay for six months, Rush, if this goes through.
RUSH: Obama is his new best bud, okay? So I'm just not surprised.
