RUSH: The Republican Party lost because it's not conservative; it didn't get its base out in the 2012 election. Now, that's simple to say, and it's probably simple for you to agree with, but I'm telling you, that statement is a major mountain to climb within the party itself.
RUSH: The euro zone is run by a bunch of leftist aristocrats who have no more idea what they're doing than leftists in this country do. Speaking of leftists, Obama has just nominated a replacement for Hilda Solis at the Labor Department.
RUSH: I think "freedom" is being misapplied or maybe incorrectly defined. Freedom does not mean hedonism. Freedom does not mean the sybaritic pursuits, "Just do what you want."
RUSH: All that's going on here -- gay marriage, illegal aliens, whatever, every issue -- is simply a vehicle for the Democrat Party to portray itself as liberators. They're the great liberators, the party of freedom, the party that's going to free people from the chains of the no-fun Republican Party.
RUSH: This White House can't even defend, and will not defend, the concept of private property.
RUSH: If Hispanics are Republicans-in-waiting, then why would you make a push for gay marriage and amnesty at the same time because theoretically you'd anger all those staunch conservative Hispanics?
RUSH: Now we go to CNN, where it was discussed: Can the Republican Party exist with me alive and breathing and talking?
