Snooki Wants a Gay Son
RUSH: I can't even see Snooki ordering a pina colada. Oh. Did you hear this? Did you hear what Snooki said? Snooki is hoping, really hoping that she has a gay son someday. Nicole Polizzi, Polizzi, Polizzi, Polizzi, whatever her last name, really said she can't wait to have a gay little boy.
Chelsea's Strange Planned Parenthood Comment
RUSH: Did you hear what Chelsea said? Chelsea Clinton. This is one of the strangest things I have ever heard. Let me see if we've got sound bite on this. I don't think we do. In fact, I'm gonna have to paraphrase this. I've got it somewhere here in the Stack.
Chelsea Clinton was talking about her grandmother or her great-grandmother, one of the two. It had to be her great-grandmother. Chelsea Clinton was lamenting how unfortunate it was that there was no Planned Parenthood around when her great-grandmother was around. Well, now, what in the world was Chelsea saying? "Gee, if there had been a Planned Parenthood, my grantmother might not have been born"? Can you imagine? I know what Chelsea's trying to do.
She's trying to score points on the left with the right, politically correct answer about Planned Parenthood. But to put it in your own family, to lament that your own great-grandmother didn't have it? "My great-grandmother did not have access to Planned Parenthood!" Well, what if she had? Maybe your mother wouldn't be here, and if she weren't here, you wouldn't be around? What are you saying with this? Some of these young leftists are making these oddball mistakes before they get old enough to know really how to speak publicly.
I thought her NBC career got her prepared for all this. "Chelsea Clinton Laments: My Great Grandmother Did Not Have Access to Planned Parenthood -- From the stage at the recent Women Deliver conference, former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s daughter Chelsea revealed that her much-admired maternal grandmother was the child of unwed teenage parents who 'did not have access to services that are so crucial that Planned Parenthood helps provide.'"
What in the world does Planned Parenthood do besides abortion? That is a strange, strange thing to say. Well, now, okay. Chelsea, let's wrap up. She "revealed that her much-admired maternal grandmother was the child of unwed teenage parents." Oh. And because there wasn't Planned Parenthood, couldn't do an abortion? Oh! So we're supposed to feel sorry for Chelsea's great-grandmother. She didn't have access.
But if we do that, if we wish that Chelsea's great-grandmother had access to Planned Parenthood, there might not be a Chelsea because there might not be a Hillary. And I will leave it at that.
AP Headline: Six White Women to Sit on Zimmerman Jury
RUSH: Did you see this headline from the AP? "Six White Women to Serve as Jurors for the George Zimmerman Trial." Even though their lead sentence says, "A jury of six women, five of them white, was picked Thursday for the second-degree murder trial of George Zimmerman..."
"Six White Women," that's the headline. But only five of 'em are white. The AP story goes on to say, "The race and ethnicity of the sixth juror was not immediately available." That really matters. Oh, yeah, that's all that matters to the media: The ethnicity and the race of the jury. But even though they didn't know the race of the sixth juror, they still ran with their race-baiting headline. Maybe the sixth woman's a "white Hispanic." (New Castrati impression)
"What do you mean, Mr. Limbaugh? There's no such thing as a 'white Hispanic'? That's another example of you trying to stir things up." That's the voice of Mr. New Castrati. No, the New York Times referred to George Zimmerman himself as a "white Hispanic" in order to stir up racial animosity and feelings in this case involving Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin. Okay, that's it for the low-information outreach.
Weiner Apologizes for Supporter's Homophobic Remark
RUSH: What is this? "Anthony Weiner Apologizes After Voter Makes Gay Slur -- New York City mayoral hopeful Anthony Weiner," the husband of Huma Weiner, "apologized yesterday after an encounter with a woman that was picked up by a reporter in which the voter called his openly gay opponent..." I'm not gonna say the word. It's what you until put your finger in. (interruption) No, not normally. I know.
Anyway, Weiner said, "Homophobia is vile and destructive and something I have fought against for the entirety of my career, including being a vocal supporter of gay marriage since 1998 and standing up on the floor of Congress for transgender Americans," said Weiner in a statement. "I admonished the woman amid a large crowd on a street corner and by no means believe that anything about her comment was appropriate.
"If the impression is that I did, I apologize..." This guy can't get out of trouble. He just can't get out trouble. Now he's apologizing after a voter makes a gay slur. "Registered Democrat Scolded for Using a Slur." Weiner gets her signature on a petition first and then admonishes her but says it's not her fault, that she's a victim of stuff. So he took her signature, he took her support; and then, after she signed his stupid little petition, he raked her over the coals for her supposed homophobia.
