"Royal Baby on the Way"
RUSH: That's what it says. It's what it says right there on the screen. It says: "royal baby is on the way." What does that mean? Now, we know that the Duchess of Cambridge is in there, she's in labor. We all know what that means, but "royal baby is on the way." What a way to describe the birth. Royal baby is on the way. What does that mean? I leave it to you to graphically interpret.
You picture a birth. You know what happens in a birth. I mean, we all know what happens in a birth. Even people in Rio Linda know. It happens in the kitchen there. They know what happens in a birth. So what does it mean, "royal baby on the way"? I know, it's the play-by-play. If there were a media person in there, play-by-play, (imitation), "And there's the... coming next... it's on the way." (interruption) What was that, somebody hit a button? Oh, popping sound. (laughing) Popping sound.
Actor Dennis Farina Dead at 69
RUSH: Ah, look at that. Dennis Farina, the actor, has died. He was 69. He was a Chicago cop who somehow was discovered and played really funny parts. One of the funniest roles was in a John Travolta movie, Get Shorty. He played the mobster in Florida that Travolta was trying to run away from. It was hilarious, and practically all he ever uttered was the F-word. But, ah, that's too bad.
George Zimmerman Saves Family of Four in Florida Car Crash
RUSH: George Zimmerman, in hiding, in fear for his life, in hiding since the verdict in his trial.
"On Wednesday, July 17 at about 5:45 PM Sanford Police responded to a single car accident in the area of I- 4 and State Road 46 in Sanford. A blue Ford Explorer SUV traveled off the road and rolled over. There were four occupants inside the vehicle, two parents and two children. ... The deputy reported, when he arrived on the scene that one of the two men helping the family was George Zimmerman. According to Sanford Police Zimmerman had a fire extinguisher," and helped assist the family to get 'em out of the vehicle.
"'Zimmerman was not a witness to the crash, which was why he was not referenced in the police report,' a Sanford Police spokeswoman told Breitbart News. 'He left after making contact with the deputy. There were no reports of injuries of any of the vehicle's occupants,'" in large part because Zimmerman helped 'em out. "An eyewitness to the accident told Breitbart News that people on the scene recognized Zimmerman and thanked him for his help before he left. Zimmerman's location has been unknown since he was found 'not guilty' of second degree murder and manslaughter of Trayvon Martin recently."
So how long is it gonna be before the story gets out that the whole accident was scripted and planned and even rehearsed and then performed for real so that Zimmerman could come upon the scene supposedly coincidentally and be a hero? I will guarantee you, if it's not already out there, it's gonna be a running theme on Twitter. I'm telling you, the left is insane, and this just can't be, Zimmerman a hero? The Zimmerman haters are gonna say this whole thing was staged, it was set up, probably rehearsed. "Look, nobody was hurt, were they? This was a setup so Zimmerman could look good. Why didn't Zimmerman just stay in his truck? I wonder if the family was white or black and if Zimmerman knew their race beforehand?" I guarantee you, folks, it's gonna happen.
NY Food Stamp Recipients Ship Food Home to Jamaica, Haiti, Dominican Republic
RUSH: "NY food stamp recipients are shipping welfare-funded groceries to relatives in Jamaica, Dominican Republic and Haiti." This from the New York Post. "Food stamps are paying for trans-Atlantic takeout -- with New Yorkers using taxpayer-funded benefits to ship food to relatives in Jamaica, Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Welfare recipients are buying groceries with their Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) cards and packing them in giant barrels for the trip overseas." They're just doing the food exporting regular American companies won't do.
"The practice is so common that hundreds of 45- to 55-gallon cardboard and plastic barrels line the walls of supermarkets in almost every Caribbean corner of the city. The feds say the moveable feasts go against the intent of the $86 billion welfare program for impoverished Americans."
Oh, really? The Feds say that this goes against the intent of the food stamp program? The hell, you say. Now they tell us? Come on, we can't let the people of the Caribbean go hungry. You know, I'm only surprised the USDA doesn't advertise this as a good idea for people to do. I mean, they're advertising food stamps. Why not, as part of the ad, "Do you have starving relatives in Jamaica? Get on the US food stamp program. Do you have starving relatives in the Caribbean anywhere? Get on the US food stamp program." And put out a pamphlet detailing how they do it in New York. They are advertising food stamps. Why not advertise this, if they want more use, if they want more recipients?
What do you mean, send them a card? Oh. Give the people in Jamaica their own cards, and the people in the Dominican Republic and Haiti, just send them their own EBT cards. You think of the money it would take to put in the machines that you gotta use the EBT cards. Nah, this way there's personal contact between family members. This way, the Jamaicans and the Dominicans and the Haitians understand it's their family members feeding them and Obama. Hey, folks, it's what it is.
