Obama Voted to Strengthen "Stand Your Ground" Laws in Illinois... Punkin Comes Home from Hospital... "Carlos Danger"! Weiner Admits to More Photos and Texts...
RUSH: I want you to hear the level of analysis that people watching CNN yesterday afternoon got on this.
RUSH: Yesterday on this program I learned that former Republican Senator Bob Dole said that the GOP must broaden its outreach. I was perplexed, and I got a little excited, animated... As I went on and on and on I said, "You know, I'm reminding myself of Tommy Lasorda..." It's a famous, within baseball, piece of audio of Tommy Lasorda, and we have it. I just want you to hear it since I mentioned it yesterday.
RUSH: Yesterday on this program, I just want to recall for you that it was predicted.
RUSH: All told, Mickelson is paying nearly a million dollars to the Brits, $300,000 to California, and the balance of it to the Feds for a total of 61%. He's gonna keep 39% of what he earned in the last two weeks.
RUSH: Obama is gonna hit the campaign trail to once again run against Washington. Folks, it's the Limbaugh Theorem being played out right before your very eyes on the economy.
RUSH: I want you to hear this so that you know what's coming, because, when the press amplifies this and applauds it, you are going to become enraged. The president is going to say that prosperity comes from the middle out. "Prosperity needs to come from the 'middle out' rather than the top down." Never mind that this has never, not once, worked... RUSH: We had a brilliant caller who asked the question: "Where did Pew find the illegals to take the poll?" The illegals, we are told, are living in the shadows -- and we are furthermore told that the illegals will not come out of the shadows until they were promised a pathway to citizenship and/or amnesty. Yet the researchers for the Pew Research Center were able to find them.
RUSH: Walmart's where you go to get cheaper things. If Walmart pulls out of there, it obviously takes a lot of jobs with it. But it also takes low prices.
RUSH: Zev Chafets, who has written a biography on me called "Army of One" -- he's also written a biography of sorts on Roger Ailes. He wrote a book in 1990 called "Devil's Night: And Other True Tales of Detroit." Chafets spent a year in Detroit reporting what was going on there, and, even as far back as 1990, it was obvious that Detroit was in extreme trouble.
RUSH: Malcolm Gladwell might be a radical, but he's not some Looney Tunes character out there that nobody has ever heard of.
