Pearls of Wisdom

"I've had some Democrat African-American leaders tell me they're really not all that comfortable with Obama as the lead at the MLK festivities 'cause he's not down for the struggle. He does not have that in his roots. They think he's gonna do what he always does, and that's turn the occasion into something about him and his presidency. And I agree."

"You don't even need to read the newspapers anymore, folks, because I will tell you what's going to be in them the day before they are published."

"Folks, you're missing the point if you think this is about Syria. This is not about Syria. The issue is, 'What do we do about Obama's red line gaffe?'"

"I had a friend of mine send me some excerpts of Martin Luther King's speech 50 years ago. There are four of them. He said, "You know, Rush, when I read what King said, I am reminded more of things you say than things Obama says," which I took as a great compliment."

"Obama doesn't want to run the risk that at some point people are going to associate what's happening with him, so just keep people distracted."

"Now, folks, I realize that I'm probably being hopelessly narrow-minded here, even bring this up. But what exactly is our strategic national interest in getting involved in Syria's civil war? I wonder if Kerry or Obama could answer that. Is it just that chemical weapons are being used and the red line and credibility and all? What is it?"

"I find it difficult to believe that Obama is just now learning how the world works. See, I don't buy this incompetence bit, foreign policy or otherwise, with Obama, at all. I don't think that in 2002 and 2004 when he was accusing Bush of lying and when he was accusing Bush of going into Iraq as a distraction and so forth, it's hard for me to accept that Obama really believed all that back then."

"If you wonder why or how a very young woman could think it was acceptable to act out sex on national TV, you really don't have to look any further than what is going on in the classrooms of several hallowed American universities."

"Would these ruling class, erudite, elite women be as upset if Miley Cyrus had twerked with another woman instead of Robin Thicke? It would not be an issue. I'll bet you a dollar (and I have a few of those) that it would not be an issue."

"The Democrats can't put any moron up and win. They need things to align, and they can generally ensure that those things do align, but the mistake that everybody's making here is that they're invincible, they're not."

"The Nobel Committee gave Obama the Peace Prize because they assumed that he was the Prince of Peace and that the world was going to become a place of peace just because he lived. Now, my question to you is: Do you think Obama really bought that?"

"I think the Democrats know exactly how the world works. They just think America's the problem in it, and Obama was clearly taught that. I mean, all these liberal Democrats think that America is the problem."

"I can totally understand somebody not thinking our enemies are our enemies. But I can't understand somebody not knowing that they're bad guys."

"There's a reason why young people think what they think. They are taught it. In many cases when they learn at home is erased or countered or overcome."

"You wonder why people learn things or why they believe what they believe, particularly young people, they're being taught it. They're being exposed to it. And they're hearing about it from people they respect: Teachers, professors, authority figures, experts in the field. Tenured professors! Now then they end up twerking, and then they don't understand why everybody's upset about it. I mean, after all, they saw a filmstrip, and they probably acted it out in class (with the feminazi professor)."
