Government officials running California’s unemployment insurance program were celebrating a major computer system upgrade when an e-mail jolted them. “Don’t pat yourself on the back, don’t congratulate yourself or others,” it said. “The computer system does not work.”
RUSH: I was pondering if I can ever remember a greater political disaster in my lifetime, if I could ever remember a time when a political party just made a decision not to exist for all intents and purposes.
RUSH: I really do believe that some of this is oriented toward driving the conservatives out of the party. I really think some of this is oriented toward the Republicans actually seeking to get rid of their conservative base.
RUSH: Dingy Harry here has just produced a great campaign ad for the Democrats running against McConnell. "Oh, yeah, I had nothing to do with this. Mitch McConnell made this happen."
RUSH: Obama is a victim of America and so are all African-Americans victims of America. And when you are victims, you get sympathy, and you get accommodation.
RUSH: This is what I mean about forcing the issue and opposing them, and making them illustrate who they are.
RUSH: I'm not trying to be a shill here. But what we learned in this is that there are people willing to try to lead. There are people willing to take the arrows.
RUSH: Did you notice even here in the midst of this so-called shocking and embarrassing defeat, Cruz is undeterred and unflappable?
RUSH: As this illustrates, it's only a matter of time before all these people run up against this.
RUSH: I'm gonna get ripped to shreds for "attacking" Kelly Ayotte, and I'm not doing that.
RUSH: Mushnick wrote: "The suspect in the beating murder of Peterson’s 2-year-old is the boyfriend of Peterson’s 'baby mama' -- now the casual, flippant, detestable and common buzz-phrase for absentee, wham-bam fatherhood." Oh, they hated that. Oh. Oh. "Baby mama," everybody loves that term, and here's Mushnick putting it in proper context.
