For years we’ve heard warnings that California’s government pensions were in trouble. Now you see why. But when one of the most liberal governors in American history wants the stench of Democrat corruption cleaned up, it must be worse than anyone knows.
RUSH: The low-information crowd might end up saying, "Hey, Obama likes True Detective! Man, he's one of us. Obama likes Game of Thrones? Oh, he's cool." You might be surprised at how many low-information voters think that Obama watching television is cool and makes him just like all of us. Now, wait. If you're thinking that you would rather have him doing this than changing the country, that's a mistake.
RUSH: I can give you two words to explain why you go back and you look at Hillary Clinton's past: Barack Obama. Barack Obama was not vetted. The Drive-By Media did not look into who he was. We all did, but they didn't.
RUSH: The reason there's a drought in the Central Valley is because of water policy. They have simply diverted water from human beings to animals, endangered species! They've been doing this in California since I don't know when, the '70s and '80s. That's how long they've been doing it, and that's why there's a drought. That's why there's an agricultural crisis in the Central Valley. It's not because of global warming.
RUSH: The teacher who made the test has apologized. Bill Clinton's name was not on the list of potential baby daddies. John Edwards' name was not on the list of potential baby daddies. Jesse Jackson's name was not on the list. It would have been much easier if they used real-life examples. Eliot Spitzer's name was not on the list of potential baby daddies. Nor was Anthony Weiner. His name was not on the list.
RUSH: Now, stop and think of this: 61% of blacks, 100% of Hispanics, 84% of women, 71% of independents say they regret voting for Obama.
RUSH: Look, we've got a blueprint. We've got a blueprint that both parties are scared to death of and want to erase from your memory and pretend that it never happened. And the blueprint is Ronald Reagan.
RUSH: The elites on the left will always find a way to be excused from even being blamed for their role in climate destruction. They're doing everything that they've criticized others from doing, but they get a pass.
RUSH: Okay. So we're going to create all these new jobs. We're going to double your gas mileage. We're going to save you eight grand by 2025. Just remember what happened to your $2,500 premium reduction in your health care insurance, and remember all those green jobs that we were going to create with Solyndra. Remember all of these wind energy and solar energy Obama plans. All those jobs and all of that innovation, remember all of that that was going to happen?
RUSH: He's saying, hey, I've got to pay the health care for my employees, and it's gotten more expensive -- and guess what? You are paying it!
RUSH: Right, now contrast the way you saw Reagan with Robert Caro describing the elites in New York. What a dunderhead; he's a dunce and idiot. That's what Caro believed. He was with these people in New York and he sees Reagan in the majesty of the House chamber getting ready for the State of the Union, and did a total 180 and realized they were dealing with a formidable guy.
