For Each Person Who Signs Up to Get the Liberty Gazette at TwoIfByTea.com, Rush & Kathryn Will Donate $1 to the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation

RUSH: You know, this would be a good time to announce something, all of this talk about the VA and Obamacare and health care. As you know, ladies and gentlemen, the Rush Revere Time-Travel Adventures with Exceptional Americans series of books is a fast-growing enterprise, and the Rush Revere webpage is actually a portal at the TwoIfByTea.com Web page.

So if you go to TwoIfByTea.com, that's where you'll find -- your kids will find -- the Adventures of Rush Revere. You'll see it right on the home page, a tab to click on it. It takes you right into the world of Rush Revere and Liberty and everything happening there. There's a thing we're rolling out, getting a little head start here on Memorial Day coming up a week from today.

It's a well-known fact that we are huge supporters of the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation. We sponsor them at Two If By Tea and the Rush Revere Time-Travel Adventures with Exceptional Americans, and you know the deal about the tea and the relationship. But we're also now expanding that here to the Rush Revere website. Here's how it works.

It's real simple, and you don't have to do anything, really, except visit a website.

In honor of what we believe to be the best military in the world -- and in honor of Memorial Day -- Kathryn and I have decided to donate $1 to the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation for every new person who signs up for the exclusive messages at the Adventures of Rush Revere website, which is part of TwoIfByTea.com. It's sort of like a little newsletter: Rush Revere's Liberty Gazette.

It's called "Exclusive Messages," and you don't have to donate a dime. You don't have to donate anything, and we're not asking you to. There's no mechanism for you to do that. All you have to do is go to TwoIfByTea.com for the special news from Rush Revere. You'll see it there at TwoIfByTea.com. Go and sign up for the Exclusive Messages in Rush Revere's Liberty Gazette newsletter and so forth.

For every new signature, everybody new who signs up today (Monday), we will donate $1 to the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation. Now, obviously there's a method to our madness here. We're building this and we're rolling this out at the same time, but we're trying to expand the website presence and availability of the whole Rush Revere cast of characters to give readers another venue to visit, share pictures, whatever.

We're rolling it out. It's gonna be big, and it's a way of introducing it, this little newsletter. It's good. I mean, I'm looking at it right now, and there's a picture of Kathryn and I. Last year about this time, we went on vacation to Europe and we took a day trip over to Normandy and visited the D-Day sites: Omaha Beach, Sword Beach, Pointe du Hoc where the Rangers rappelled straight up the cliffs with the German guns firing down on them.

We went to the American Cemetery, and there's a picture of us sitting on a bench there. It's the most solemn place. So, anyway, all you have to do is go to TwoIfByTea.com and sign up for the Rush Revere Exclusive Messages. It's a little newsletter-type thing. It goes out on a irregular basis. Whenever we feel like sending something out, you'll get it, just like the free e-mail update every day that's associated with the radio show, Rush in a Hurry.

But the little hook here is that for everybody who goes and signs up today, we'll donate $1 to Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation. It's in honor of Memorial Day, rolling out the website, and all that. All of this, by the way, I must tell you, is the result of popular demand. We're being inundated with people who want more -- particularly Liberty, the talking, time-traveling horse.

But as well all the other characters that make up this exciting world now. So if you haven't been to the Adventures of Rush Revere website, you should visit, 'cause it's a fun little place to go, particularly for people who've read these books -- The Children, if you will. So it's just a little something in exchange for you checking it out, and you don't donate dime. This is not about that.

You can't. We don't even make that available to you. Don't anybody get confused. We're gonna do that: $1 for every one of you who goes and signs up, pure and simple. We sponsor them, and we're excited to do this each and every opportunity we get, and I thought this would be a perfect time. I wasn't gonna mention this 'til later in the week, but I think it's a perfect time given everything happening here with the controversy over the VA.
