RUSH: Folks, I told you, I'm a little surprised it's taken this long. When the whole Brian Williams thing began, I said there's two things that are going to happen here.  One of two things is going to happen.  They're either going to circle the wagons like they did around Dan Rather, which they didn't do, or they're going to go out and try to find examples of other prominent television news people doing it, too. 

RUSH: He sat in Reverend Wright's church for 20 years. It matters. I don't care that he said he didn't hear anything, it matters.  I know he was introduced to politics by Bill Ayers and his wife.  It matters.  They tried to sweep this stuff under the rug, but it matters.  Barack Obama has had as good friends terrorists and people who have tried to commit terrorist acts against this country.  It's not a mystery.  It's hard to accept.

RUSH: Now it's time for the stories of the pain and the suffering and the tears of the illegals who are primed to take advantage of Obama's unconstitutional executive action.  It's now time to whip up sympathy and sorrow for the victims of this crackpot judge in Texas, who is a conservative Republican... Luis Gutierrez has had this counted as done and in the bag ever since last November.... Now he's trying to make us think that the anger is building and it's building and it's going to explode at some point,

RUSH: We knew all of these things that were going to affect people, and we spent years on this program telling you about them.  Therefore you, depending on your memory, knew as well.  But the Democrat voters, the average Democrat voter didn't know and was shocked and outraged. And the Democrat members of Congress (who made it all happen) were also acting ignorant and shocked and surprised and running around screaming. It's like the Limbaugh Theorem: Blame somebody else for this. 

RUSH: They're beheading people. They're burning people. They're terrorizing people. How much more angry can they get? 

CALLER: I was an uninformed Democrat.  I started listening to you because my car only got one station and you were on it.  And you were on a tirade about if you want to improve yourself, don't wait for the government.  Take care of business, get off your butt and educate yourself.  It just clicked in my head.  So I must call and thank you for changing my life.

RUSH: There's no question that it's got to be frustrating to people like you.  I mean, you have come here because you wanted to escape.  You wanted to escape a number of things, poverty, corruption, economic distress, you come here -- this is the shining city on a hill.  This is the place on earth everybody wants to come.  Nobody wants to leave this country.

RUSH: They have control over your health care.  They have control over whether or not, when you get sick, you get treated.  They're going to have control over how you stay healthy.  They're going to get to define that.  You're going to stay healthy by eating what they say you have to eat.  By not sitting longer than they think you shouldn't sit.  By not watching television any longer than they think you shouldn't watch it. 

RUSH: It's another little warning here that all of this stuff that you put on Facebook or Twitter or whatever social media, all of this stuff about yourself that you just vomit, that you just announce to everybody, it's now going to be used either for or against you in ways you never even dreamed.  Even down to whether or not you get hired. 

RUSH: I wanted to thank Marc Thiessen, because this does not happen, people reacting this way.  Mostly they're afraid to stand up in any way, either to defend me or try to explain. It's just easier to let it go...  But Thiessen, God bless him, was not having it.  

RUSH: All you need to know is Obama wants it; you should oppose it. It's that simple.
