| Dittoheads Infiltrate Frisco Freak Protest |

In the audio link below, you can hear a fantastic, eyewitness account of these protests in San Francisco. These were billed as "anti-war" protests, but it's clear that they were driven by anti-Americanism. Kfir, and a friend, provided us some pictures of their posters and experiences at the rally which we've provided right here.
 This is the essence of illustrating absurdity by being absurd. No one there protested the brutal dictatorship of Saddam Hussein, just as none of these folks protested in 1998 when Clinton launched 450 cruise missiles (more than all those fired in Gulf War One) at Iraq. Kfir illustrated this with posters. One depicted a Muslim woman wearing a burqa with a leash around her neck and tied to a pole with the slogan "Protect Islamic Property Rights Against Western Imperialism! Say No to War!"
Other slogans included: "Except for Ending Slavery, Fascism, Nazism and Communism, War Has Never Solved Anything," and "Communism has Only Killed 100 Million People. Let's Give it Another Chance." There was even a communist table there, which we have a picture of on the back page.
These guys were lucky to make it out alive! I mean, communists do not allow protests like this. (Remember that whenever you hear that it's better than capitalism or democracy.) You guys did a great job out there, Kfir; thanks again for sharing your pictures! |
