RUSH: Jim in Chicago, great to have you on the EIB Network, sir. Hello.
CALLER: Hey, Rush, how are you?
RUSH: Fine and dandy.
CALLER: You know, you just talked about telling us when it was time to panic.
RUSH: Yeah.
 CALLER: I think I've reached my panic point in regard to this medical bill. My wife just gave me a frantic call saying that she's been trying to get our seven-year-old asthmatic child the shot and she was told that unless she was American Indian or could prove that she was on some type of assistance program that we would not be able to get the shot --
RUSH: What?
CALLER: -- from these locations, and I'm telling you --
RUSH: Whoa, whoa. Wait a minute. In Chicago?
CALLER: Correct.
RUSH: In other words, this is an affirmative action vaccine, and you have to be an approved minority group member before you can get it?
CALLER: I'm telling you, Rush, I don't understand it, it's never happened before, where now we get the government involved in it and this is just another way of displaying how we can't have the government run the medical program when in fact they can now dictate which group, which people get to have care. It's crazy.
RUSH: Jim, thanks. I'm going to check into this. That's big if that's actually accurate. Not doubting you, just have to check it out. |
