RUSH: Have you people seen -- it's on YouTube -- Hillary Clinton is in Iowa, she just finished an interview with reporters, there's four or five flags behind her, and she turns to walk away, and the flags start falling down. It was in Waterloo, Iowa. The flags start falling and she grabs one of them to try to keep it from hitting the deck, and I'm thinking, "This is an omen." This is either an omen for her or for us. I'm not sure which. Here's the audio of how it happened. This is Sunday in Waterloo, Iowa, she's speaking to a reporter, she says this and walks away, then four flags start falling around her.
 CLINTON: Lot of, you know, repair work to do once we get back.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I'm sorry.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Thank you all.
CLINTON: Thank you all.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Thanks, everybody.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: It's good to see you. Whoa!
(thud)
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Be careful.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Oh, no.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: We got cameras galore in here.
CLINTON: Get our flags back up there, guys. I don't think that -- I think that the bases are not weighted enough.
RUSH: That's Hillary explaining why this happened. Nobody touched these flags that we could see. The minute she gets near them, bam, they just start falling over. So I'm wondering if this is an omen, you know, for her or for us. (laughing) We'll have to wait. The Drive-Bys, by the way, desperate for a race, are now claiming that she's in big, big, big, big, trouble. We have known this for a week. Polling data does not indicate she's in as much trouble as the Drive-Bys are trying to make it out to be, but these little flaps just keep happening. |
