Mr. Limbaugh,
Please accept this flag as a small token our appreciation for your support of the troops currently in the Gulf, as well as in other conflicts. This flag flew on 5 different aircraft stationed at Prince Sultan Air Base, Saudi Arabia.
[My fellow airman] would appreciate an email from you when you have the time so he knows you got the flag. There are a few items folded in the flag. Two coins from two of the squadrons. It flew just as you see it in the plastic bag.
[He] was first, when he took it to Baghdad on a defensive counterair mission in his F-15C. This is why he wants to make sure you get the flag.
We have flown this flag for you to show in some small way our appreciation for your support of the troops in Iraq. Many of us are avid followers and though we did not get the chance to listen to your show, we stopped by your website as much as possible.
From all of us to all of you at EIB, and for all you do for the men and women in uniform, we salute you.

Subject: I am in stunned disbelief
My wife just emailed me with the details of your amazing shipment to me. I have not yet seen it but she was practically in tears telling me about it. I still have about 10 minutes left in my show today (Wednesday, 4/30). I will see it when I get home later this afternoon.
I really don’t know what to say. I think it is people like us who should be sending you and your buddies objects of our appreciation, thanks and respect. The fact that you were thinking of us at this time is stunning. We are in awe.
I am honored beyond my ability to express it and I can’t wait to get home and see this flag. Please stay in touch - and by all means let me know if I can ever help with anything. Just ask.
Rush Limbaugh
