Mac Screensaver Installation Instructions: |

It may be helpful to print out directions before downloading.
Note: If you are an AOL user, please open your Internet Explorer or Netscape browser to download the RUSH 24/7 screensaver.
Screensaver is compatible with Mac OS 8.6 through OS X. |

If you have an iMac, iBook, G3 or older Macintosh computer, please select the low resolution images. If you have a G4, or you have a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 or higher, select the high resolution images.
* Select the resolution choice that fits your computer (high or low).
* A window will appear that indicates the download is taking place. A second window will appear that tells you that the images are being "unstuffed". You will need Stuffit Expander 5.5 or above, to successfully complete this download. If your computer does not automatically begin extracting the file, you will need to open the downloaded file (the file name that ends with ".sit") using Stuffit Expander and extract it to your desktop.
* Next, double click on the "RUSH 24/7 Screensaver" icon. (Do not confuse this with the RUSH 24/7 Screensaver.sit icon, which is the compressed Stuffit file. You can trash the compressed Stuffit file once you've opened (extracted) the "RUSH 24/7 Screensaver" icon.
* The "Install iScreensaver" window will pop up. Click the "Install" button on the lower right of the window.
* Once the install process has been completed, the iScreensaver will automatically start up. You will see the iScreensaver module appear in the upper left corner of your monitor. Make sure "Rush 24-7" is selected. Click the "activate" button to preview the screensaver image. Then click the "Hide" button. When your computer reboots, it will start automatically.
* If you want to customize your new RUSH 24/7 Screensavers, open the iScreensaver module. (You¹ll find it in your Control Panels, which you can locate by pulling down the apple menu on the upper left corner of your computer). Select the iScreensaver from your Control Panels. Click on the double arrows on the upper right side of the iScreensaver module. A new window will open with several tabs across the top. Use the "Preferences" and "Advanced" tabs to customize which screensavers will appear and for how long.

REMEMBER: A screensaver is not a background. You will see the RUSH 24/7 images when your computer is idle. They will NOT appear as the background on your desktop when your computer is in use.
