RUSH: Suzanne, Blounts Creek, North Carolina. Hi.

CALLER: I cannot believe this. This is just a thrill of a lifetime. But I want — let me get to my point really quick so I don’t tie you up. There is no racial division except the division that is created by those who make money off of it. This is about right and wrong, not black and white. And I must say, you are brilliant and that’s why they’re afraid of you.

RUSH: Well, thank you very much. Thank you, thank you, thank you very much. I — effective, brilliant, whatever. I mean I — I’ll tell you what’s happened today. We’ve been monitoring it. I got scolded by all of the learned people on my side who say, tsk-tsk, we must raise the level of debate, we mustn’t use words like racist. Guess what? It’s all over MSNBC. They can’t get away from it. The Obama administration is going to regret Suzanne that they didn’t tamp this down the first day. Get her out there and address this, misspoke or do something. Just like they did yesterday, the liberals concerned that she didn’t have an abortion record, they took care of it that day. This has been allowed to fester out there. This is a — a political mistake.

CALLER: Exactly. You know what Jesus said about lukewarm water, he will spew it out.

RUSH: (laughing.)

CALLER: Lukewarm, moderate, call it what you know — whatever.

RUSH: Lukewarm moderates, exactly right. Well, I love the Patton quote. The two Patton quotes. Pressure makes diamonds. If everybody is thinking alike, then somebody isn’t thinking. Thanks very much.

Ken in Farmington, Missouri. Great to have you. Welcome.

CALLER: Top of the day to you.

RUSH: Thank you, sir.

CALLER: Please don’t shut up. Hey, I love your PSAs and commercials [when we are] on hold. As a matter of fact when I got off the phone I’m going to run off to Spatula City and do my Christmas shopping early.

RUSH: They’re only open — they’re only open for 60 seconds.

CALLER: Oh, my God.

RUSH: During the commercial, so —

CALLER: I’ve been a fan of yours since day one when you went national, I heard you on KNST in Tucson, your moving van experience. Got a question — a comment and a question. Couple days ago our senator here in Missouri, Claire McCaskill was being interviewed by a radio person, and they brought up the statement made by Ms. Sotomayor before the Latina women and white men, and Claire McCaskill misunderstand who said what, and she was awfully offended right off the bat until her interview explained, no, no, no, it was her that said that, not a white —

RUSH: I know. We had that sound bite. It’s another one I didn’t get to because people thought I was talking about Sotomayor too much, but that — that is true. She’s asked about this, and she had the typical lib knee-jerk reaction, that’s outrageous, that is outrageous, I — and then she was told, no Judge Sotomayor — Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Then it became okay.

CALLER: Yes.

RUSH: Take it out of context, take it out of context became okay.

CALLER: About the same age, we were both unviable tissue masses at the same time, and I’m wondering why us white men can’t have any richness of experiences.

RUSH: Well, why can’t white men have rich experiences? We can. It’s that we did it illegally. Or that we stole somebody else’s riches to have the experiences with or some such thing. I have to run. Thanks, Ken.
