RUSH: Here’s Morgan Freeman’s ad. I mentioned this earlier in the program. This is the latest and greatest Obama campaign ad.

FREEMAN: Every president inherits challenges. Few have faced so many. Four years later, our enemies have been brought to justice. Our heroes are coming home. Assembly lines are humming again. There are still challenges to meet, children to educate, a middle class to rebuild. But the last thing we should do is turn back now.

RUSH: What the hell does that say? It says absolutely nothing. All it does is start whining and making excuses. Every president inherits challenges. Few have faced so many. Yeah? That’d be surprising to George W. Bush. He had 9/11, his own recession. Ronaldus Magnus, the four years of Jimmy Carter, the Iranian hostage crisis he had to settle and fight the Cold War and defeat the Russians, the Soviets. These people think they’ve had it so tough. Four years later our enemies have been brought to justice. The hell they have. Our enemies are spiking the football. Zawahiri and Al-Qaeda are spiking the football! Killing our ambassador in Benghazi and three other Americans, after Obama has said there is no more Al-Qaeda. After Obama has tried to tell everybody he’s brought Al-Qaeda to its knees.

Ayman al-Zawahiri of Al-Qaeda is spiking the football, making a mockery. How do you run an ad that says our enemies have been brought to justice? Our enemies just killed our ambassador. (Obama impression) “It was a video. The video may as well have been the trigger.” Tom Brokaw on Meet the Press yesterday. During the roundtable, David Gregory said, “The issue of the debt, the issue of taxes because I think it’s important to get to one of the big issues here. We have got to in these final few weeks try to reach some resolution about this revenue issue whether we raise revenue to deal with the debt. Because whether it’s Medicare or whether it’s dealing with the debt level at the level that it’s at, without agreement on both sides, we’re not going to be able to tackle some of these more difficult issues, Tom.” What do we do, Tom? You’re the big anchor, what do we do?

BROKAW: We’ll expect to hear Governor Romney go after President Obama this time about, “I want more details about your plan. You keep harping on me; I haven’t heard the details in your plan as well.” I looked at that debate that we talked about a moment ago; it was playing last night on C-SPAN. And now President Obama was saying, “Look, we’ve got a deficit of a half a trillion dollars. I’m gonna get that under control.” Well, this week that deficit is 1.1 trillion dollars, and it happened on his watch. He’s gonna have to answer for that.

RUSH: It’s every year it’s happened on his watch. He had a trillion-dollar deficit every year for four straight years. I wonder if they’ll take Brokaw to the woodshed for this. The idea that Obama’s gonna get the debt under control is like telling everybody Colonel Sanders gonna save the chickens. It’s just not gonna happen.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Yes, yes, yes. I’ve got the audio. I’ve had it the whole show. I just didn’t want to use it. There’s audio of Michelle Obama out there saying, “[W]e are in the midst of a huge recovery.” That was a radio interview Friday. I’m not going to insult your intelligence by playing it. That’s absurd. Michelle (My Belle) says, “[W]e are in the midst of a huge recovery.” That’s right, and Obama was on the case at Benghazi from the get-go.
