RUSH: Ed Klein? You know, who wrote the book Blood Clot? This guy continues to uncover information about the Clintons and the Obamas. Apparently… I don’t want to paraphrase it. Yes! Here it is. I just happened to come across this here. Again, it’s fascinating. “President Obama has quietly promised Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren complete support if she runs for president…”

This is the fake Indian.

This is the female senator from Massachusetts who popularized during her campaign the whole notion, “You didn’t build that. You factory owners? You private sector businesspeople? You didn’t build that! We did that for you. You couldn’t have become the billionaire or the millionaire that you are if it was not for us. We’re the ones that made it all possible for you. You didn’t do anything!”

“Publicly, Obama has remained noncommittal on the 2016 race,” but apparently the Clintons got an assurance from him that if they would help Obama in 2012 with his reelection bid, that he would turn around and help Hillary. Now, according to Klein, there’s been sort of a stab in the back here. So much for that promise. At least here’s what the deal was.

They were gonna keep quiet about Benghazi in 2012 if Obama would back Hillary in 2016, and if Bill would help Obama in 2012 and campaign for him and support him (maybe not campaign for him but support him), that Obama would return the favor and support Hillary. Now Ed Klein has learned that Obama has “quietly promised … Warren complete support if she runs for president — a stinging rebuke to his nemesis Hillary Clinton, sources tell me.

“Publicly, Obama has remained noncommittal on the 2016 race, but privately he worries that Clinton would undo and undermine many of his policies. There’s also a personal animosity, especially with Bill Clinton, that dates from their tough race six years ago.” By the way, the little hidden gem in this thing is apparently Ed Klein learning that Obama is very worried about his policies being undone and undermined, and not just by Hillary.

You know, when I came across the fact that Obama is gonna stay in Washington? I mean, you’ve heard they’re buying house maybe in North Carolina, maybe buying a house out in Palm Springs, and maybe the Obama Presidential Library for Social Justice or whatever will be in Hawaii. Very quietly it’s been reported (I think it was the Washington Post) that Obama plans to stay in Washington a good deal of the time.

Now, most presidents get out of Dodge after they’ve served their term or terms in office. If Obama stays, there’s one reason why, and that is to make sure that what he’s done here is not undermined by anybody. Let’s assume, take your pick of whatever Republican you want to win. Let’s say that Republican wins, and we got a Republican White House, we have a Republican House, and let’s say we even got a Republican Senate. Just to play with this.

One of the first things that happens is that the Republicans get together and start trying to chip away at Obamacare and some of these other things, and guess who’s gonna be on TV within 10 seconds? Barack Obama! He’ll be on TV with the friendly, compliant, sycophantic media, and he’ll be on TV talking about how this is why he hoped that the Democrats would beat the Republicans, and this is why he almost tried to run for a third term.

“Because the last thing in the world we can have is these Republicans coming along and undermining all of the transformational good work that we’ve done,” and there will be a fight, whoever the Republican president is. If a Republican wins the White House in 2016, I guarantee you he’s gonna be harassed daily by Obama and the media. Do not think otherwise.

Flag this: July 7, 2014. Flag it — and this is not the first time I’ve said it. It’s gonna be unprecedented. This does not happen. Former presidents don’t do this. Clinton has gotten as close to it as any former president in our lifetimes, and even he waited awhile, and even he did it overseas talking about Bush. But you wait. I don’t care who it is. Even if a Democrat wins and tries to undermine, Obama is gonna do same thing. Mark my words.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Now, I know a lot of you people don’t believe this Elizabeth Warren business. “Come on! They’re trying to talk her into it. She’d never do it.” I have some audio sound bites coming up of Ed Klein himself claiming that Valerie Jarrett has been meeting with Elizabeth Warren in secret, and Valerie Jarrett is the power behind the throne. So I’ll have these two sound bites coming up for you. There is bad blood between the Obamas and the Clintons. There’s no question about that.

Nobody’s denying this yet, either.

That’s the old saw.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: So I know that there are a lot of people. “Come on, Rush. Elizabeth Warren? Don’t be silly. They’re not gonna have Elizabeth — she doesn’t even want to run for president. She’s too stupid to run for president. Nobody would vote for Elizabeth Warren.”

Folks, you have to throw all of this conventional wisdom out now. You just have to throw that all out. The idea that she wouldn’t run, throw it out. The idea that people wouldn’t vote for her. Liberals would vote for her as fast as they would vote for Obama. The thing about it is here, once again we’re faced with a Hillary coronation in everybody’s mind. It’s gonna be Mrs. Clinton. It’s her time. It’s her due. She’s owed this just like she was owed in 2008 until the skinny black guy came along and everybody fell in love with him and then Hillary’s promise was relegated to “see you later.”

Now we’re back. And the same guy is prepared to undermine her again. Let’s go to Ed Klein. And look, folks, say what you want, Ed Klein’s book has been out there. And nobody but nobody has denied anything in Ed Klein’s book. I keep calling it Blood Clot, but it’s not. It’s Blood Feud, is what the name of the book is. The Politico has an article today explaining why they’ve not discussed the Ed Klein book. They say it’s just a little hard to believe. Well, that never stopped ’em from talking about Hillary’s two autobiographies or Obama’s. You talk about hard to believe. That never stopped The Politico.

But now we’ve got an editorial, “Ah, the Klein book, it’s extreme, you know, it’s just too hard to believe.” My guess is that if The Politico could find somebody to go on record and deny things in it, they would feature those people. Have you heard anybody deny anything in that book? I haven’t, either, and before you say, “Come on, Rush, Elizabeth Warren, she’s too stupid,” don’t forget Joe Biden’s running. She would not have a lock on stupid. (interruption) Oh, of course Biden. He’s hiding in the shadows. Well, no, no. Can’t really say he’s in the shadows. But he’s lurking out there, and he does want to run.

But let’s go to Klein himself. Klein was on Fox & Friends today about his book, and the fill-in host was Anna Kooiman. She said, “You say that Obama’s chief advisor, Valerie Jarrett, has been meeting in secret with Elizabeth Warren for weeks?”

KLEIN: For several weeks they’ve had meetings both in the White House and outside the White House. And during these meetings, which are get-together meetings, get-to-know-you meetings, Valerie Jarrett, who of course is the consiglieri in the White House, she really has huge power there, has urged Elizabeth Warren to throw her hat into the ring because Obama thinks, the president thinks she would carry out his legacy a lot better than Hillary Clinton.

RUSH: Now, again, if you read the Klein book, you’re saying, “I can’t believe people talk this way. I can’t believe people think this way. ” But then nobody has refuted any of it. And I do think, as I just clearly stated, that Obama is obsessed with making sure that his transformation is not undone, as I’ve already discussed. The idea that Hillary would undo some of it, that’s a tough one, that he thinks that. That Elizabeth Warren would continue it is not a stretch.

So then Steve Doocy said to Ed Klein, “Look, when people look at this story, they’re thinking, ‘Where did he get that?’ Ed, you’re coming up with all these things, nobody’s refuting it, but it’s so far out there. Who is your source on this stuff?”

KLEIN: My source on that is somebody very close to Valerie Jarrett and somebody who I’ve been talking to for the past couple years. But, you know, it’s interesting, today’s Wall Street Journal essentially confirms what I’ve been reporting. The Journal front page piece says that Hillary Clinton is distancing herself now from President Obama. This is part of that feud that goes all the way back to the McGovern era when you had the far left wing of the party in conflict with the more centrist wing of the party.

RUSH: So what are we supposed to believe, that Hillary is the centrist wing and Obama’s the McGovern wing, and the feud goes all the way back that far? Obama doesn’t go back to the McGovern wing. I mean, he does, but if he’d have been old enough and had been involved he’d have been right there, but he wasn’t. (interruption) Yeah, I know, he makes McGovern look like a pro-war, Second Amendment, can’t-wait-to-fire-the-next-gun kind of guy. Anyway, that’s Klein, and you have to just remember that nobody is refuting any of it.
