RUSH: I have this from Breitbart.com: “Exclusive: Reince Priebus Rallies Base: GOP Will Stop Obama’s Un-American Amnesty if We Win the Senate.” Maybe it’s Reince. Yeah, that’s what it says here. I never can remember how to pronounce this man’s name. Don’t think it’s Reince. Probably Reince. Reince Priebus.

“Reince Priebus, the chairman of the Republican National Committee (RNC), says itÂ’s ‘un-American’ for President Barack Obama to consider implementing an executive amnesty for millions of illegal aliens across the country. ‘ItÂ’s unconstitutional, illegal, and we donÂ’t support it,’ Priebus replied when a Tea Party activist asked him about the presidentÂ’s plans for an executive amnesty on a conference call hosted by TheTeaParty.net on Monday evening. ‘I donÂ’t support it. It is wrong,’ Priebus said. ‘It is un-American for a president to try and do such a thing. I want to make it clear: There is no part of me, there is not a molecule in my body that agrees with the president on executive amnesty.’

“Priebus promised the hundreds of activists on the call that the Republican Party, if it takes the Senate on Nov. 4 in the upcoming midterm elections, will do everything in its power to stop Obama from proceeding on the executive amnesty. Priebus even boldly predicted that Republicans can and will succeed in stopping Obama if elected on Nov. 4.

‘While I canÂ’t speak for the legislature, IÂ’m very confident we will stop that,’ Priebus said. ‘We will do everything we can to make sure it doesnÂ’t happen: Defunding, going to court, injunction. You name it. ItÂ’s wrong. It’s illegal. And for so many reasons, and just the basic fabric of this country, we canÂ’t allow it to happen and we wonÂ’t let it happen. I donÂ’t know how to be any stronger than that. IÂ’m telling you, everything we can do to stop it we will.'”

You ought to hear the shock and surprise I am being greeted with here in the studio. People are saying, “Why’d they wait so long to announce this?” You know why people are surprised? Let me tell you why. The reason people are surprised is because the assumption has been all along that the Republicans, because of the Chamber of Commerce threats and donations, want amnesty, and they’re in there to support it because we’ve been told the Republicans have to do that if they’re ever gonna win the presidency. Because if they don’t do that, the Hispanics are gonna continue to hate their guts and they can’t win the presidency if the Hispanics hate their guts. And the only way to stop the Hispanics from hating their guts is to do amnesty.

How many Republican senators have we heard say this? Now, not executive amnesty. They say that they’re for comprehensive immigration reform, and they claim it’s not amnesty. It’s a thin line that they’re walking there. But this is the most definitive statement on this that we’ve heard from anybody in the Republican Party leadership. Apparently it was a very long conference call with a Tea Party group, and it’s much longer than what I just read. This whole story is 27 pages.

Now, it could be he was just worn down by it. I imagine this guy is being bombarded with this question everywhere he goes, because the people assume the Republican Party’s for amnesty. There have been enough indicators that the Republican Party — the Chamber of Commerce guy’s come out and said, “You may as well not even nominate a candidate for 2016 if you don’t make this happen.” I can’t tell you the number of Republicans who’ve publicly in recent months said that they stood for comprehensive immigration reform. And as the Democrats and Obama mean it, that’s amnesty.

So they have, by association, we doing the associating, have concluded that they were for amnesty. Here comes that chairman of the RNC saying, “Ain’t no way, Jose, no way, no how, any time. We’re gonna fight it with every piece of ammunition we have.” And, by the way, you better be prepared to. Folks, I’m gonna tell you, as far as Barack Obama’s concerned, he doesn’t care who wins the Senate. When it’s all said and done, it isn’t gonna change what he’s doing.

I think everybody ought to buckle up for Obama in these last two years. It isn’t gonna matter. I mean, it may be a disappointment on election night, but come January, it isn’t gonna matter. He’s gonna executive action, executive order as much as he thinks he can get away with. And he’s gonna go, I think, at NASCAR breakneck speeds. And I don’t think he’s gonna care what they say in the Senate. I don’t think he’s gonna care what they do in the Senate because he knows the one thing they won’t do is impeach him.

So Obama’s gonna tell himself, there’s no way they’re gonna stop me. He’s gonna tell himself, they won’t even try to stop me. They may try to stop me by not giving me the votes, but what do I care? I’m gonna sign executive actions. I’m gonna have Ron Klain out there leading the way for me. I’m gonna sign executive orders.

I hope I’m wrong about this, but I think these next two years everybody ought to buckle up. This is about more than us winning the Senate. There’s gonna have to be some things that we do that accompany that victory. And Obama’s not gonna care about public opinion, either. I just haven’t found a way, with all of the communicative ability that I have been blessed with, I still haven’t found a way to persuade people just how thoroughly, passionately ideological Obama is. I firmly believe that the vast majority of people that voted for him in 2008 didn’t have any ideology in mind. They weren’t even thinking ideology. They weren’t thinking left, right, conservative, liberal.

They were just thinking, in Obama’s case, I think a vast majority of people were thinking we could end racism. We can finally bury that thing, gonna elect a black president, that’s gonna be the end of all this discussion of racism. A lot of people, I think, thought that. I’ve tried to caution them, they were wrong, it was gonna get worse. A lot of people thought — well, I don’t care what they thought. I know they weren’t looking at Obama as a liberal. He wasn’t elected on that basis. Otherwise if he were, if he were elected on the basis of his liberal ideology, there wouldn’t be all this polling data out there expressing how mad people are, how upset people are, and how much they oppose all this.

So they weren’t electing Barack Obama, the liberal. They were electing Barack Obama, the empty canvas, and they were able to make him whatever they wanted him to be. He represented the end of the racism in America. Electing him would demonstrate that this country is no longer racist. I think that was a big one. But there were other things, too. But now his ideology is front and center and I still don’t think people realize how totally driven by it he is. And that’s why I’m warning you, these next two years are gonna require seat belts, even when you’re asleep.
