RUSH: There’s a story on the 4th of July, which was Saturday. That means a whole lot of people didn’t see this. Here’s the headline: “Hillary Clinton Reassures Gay Youth in Viral Facebook Photo.” Did you hear about this Mr. Snerdley? Did you hear about this? “Hillary Rodham Clinton offered moral support to a distraught gay youth who shared his anxiety about his future in a viral photograph posted on the Humans of New York Facebook page, telling him on Friday that it would be ‘amazing.’

“The boy, who is not named in the photo, is shown frowning and holding his head in his hands while sitting on a stoop,” on his street in New York. “‘I’m homosexual, and I’m afraid about what my future will be and that people won’t like me,’ he said, according to the caption.” Now, this picture just happened to be taken. We are supposed to believe that a photographer was just randomly walking the streets of New York, and just happened to see an eight-year-old boy sitting on his front stoop crying. So the photographer, being a good photojournalist, said, “A-ha! I see a story here. Why, there’s an eight-year-old crying!”

So he snaps the picture, and then the photographer walked up to the kid, “Why are you crying, young man?” and that’s when he told the photographer that he was crying because he’s gay. Of course, then Mrs. Clinton rides to the rescue here offering moral support to this distraught eight-year-old who shared his anxiety in the photograph with this guy that just happened to be walking down the right street at the right time in New York to take the right picture.

“Two hours after the picture was posted, Mrs. Clinton typed out some words of encouragement and signed her comment ‘H’ … ‘Prediction from a grown-up: Your future is going to be amazing,’ she wrote. ‘You will surprise yourself with what you’re capable of and the incredible things you go on to do. Find the people who love and believe in you — there will be lots of them.'” Now, I’m sorry, folks, but I am… Where the Clintons are concerned, there are no coincidences with the Clintons. There just aren’t any. I feel very confident and safe speculating that this whole thing is as phony as it gets.

We’re supposed to believe that a photographer walking the streets of New York City sees this kid crying on his stoop, takes his picture, and then the kid says to the photographer, “Yeah, I’m crying because I’m gay and I’m really worried about my future and I don’t think I’m going to be loved and it’s going to be really hard out there.” The kid looks like he’s eight or nine. You know what the kid looks like? He looks like the kid that was in the gay pride parade last week.

In the picture we showed, his mom had him proudly dressed up in some kind of rainbow-colored drag queen getup with a Roman crown of whatever on his head. This kid looks exactly like that kid. I’m not saying it’s the same kid. I’m just saying that’s what this eight-year-old looks like. That was in Yahoo! Parenting. Anyway, it’s just a little too convenient with Hillary in some trouble out there with the “progressives” because of Bernie Sanders.

RUSH: Let me head to the phones, and Manhattan, Kansas. This is Alan. I’m glad you waited. Great to have you on the program, sir. Hi.

CALLER: Hi, Rush. Man, I’ve listened to your show for years. But how does an eight-year-old boy answer that question, how does he know if he’s gay or not. My equipment didn’t start working until I was 12. I couldn’t have answered anything like that.

RUSH: Look, I don’t know. I haven’t heard testimony on — I take it back. Wait a second. Wait a second. Didn’t Bruce Jenner say when he was five he knew, or didn’t somebody, maybe not Jenner, but didn’t somebody recently say when they were five, when they were five they knew they either were a woman or they felt like they were trapped in a woman’s body or they knew they were gay or something. Look, Alan, I think the gay political left would tell you it’s entirely understandable an eight-year-old would know this.

Look at what we’re being asked to believe. A kid sitting on the front stoop on the 4th of July crying about this, and a news photographer just happens to be walking by, just happens to take a picture, just happens to ask the kid, the kid just happens to tell the truth and the first person to hear about it is Hillary so she can reply to it. Really?

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: As usual, ladies and gentlemen, I was correctamente. It was Bruce Jenner. Bruce Jenner was on TMZ. “Bruce to Family: I Knew I Was a Woman Since Age 5 — Bruce Jenner recently opened up to his [famiglia],” a little Spanish lingo there, “that he has known since the age of 5 that he was a female.” So could the eight-year-old kid on the stoop know? Look, if you want to do this: An eight-year-old kid on a stoop is crying because he’s gay and he’s worried that he’s going to be unhappy and made fun of or whatever the rest of his life.

Okay, he’s eight years old. Who told him this? Where did he pick that up? Is that not awfully convenient for the…? Don’t forget, now: Everything on the left is politics. Everything is about advancing a leftist political agenda. And that clearly does. I mean, that fits exactly what meme or narrative the left wants people to believe even now. Homosexuality is in the middle of a mass acceptance. They still want you to believe that it’s a horrible, terrible burden because of the prejudice and bigotry of mainstream society.

So an eight-year-old kid on his stoop in front of his house, all alone crying about this. Well, where did he pick this up? He’s eight years old. How does he know at eight that his life is already preprogrammed to be filled with misery because he’s gay? And then, of course, the happenstance of the photographer. And the happenstance that the kid opens up to the photographer about why he’s crying. And then the happenstance of Hillary just happens to see it because it just happened to go viral. I mean, there’s a lot of coincidences here — and all I know is that there are no coincidences with the Clintons.
