So I guess we have a montage of this to show you how the media\u2019s reacting to this, the Drive-By Media soap opera. Obama launches My Brother\u2019s Keeper Program, except when it comes to his own personal brothers. Here\u2019s a media montage of the announcement and the breathless excitement…<\/p>\n

WOLF BLITZER: (music) Emotion running deep at the White House as President Obama launches his most personal program.<\/p>\n

NORAH O\u2019DONNELL: President Obama (music starts) touches on a very personal issue.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

SHEPARD SMITH: Calls this issue (b-roll noise) deeply personal.<\/p>\n

ANDERSON COOPER: President Obama was emotional, passionate, deeply personal. <\/p>\n

DON LEMON: What is a very personal cause.<\/p>\n

DIANE SAWYER: The president talked about something very personal.<\/p>\n

CHRISTI PAUL: A personal message to teens.<\/p>\n

JOHN BERMAN: In surprisingly personal terms.<\/p>\n

BRIAN WILLIAMS: A personal and emotional event at the White House for the president today. <\/p>\n

RUSH: Here we go again. It\u2019s gravitas all over again, every media person describing this identically: “Deeply personal event! Surprisingly personal! Very personal cause, emotion, passionate, deeply personal.” What\u2019s deeply personal about it? There\u2019s nothing deeply personal. He does not have a son. He\u2019s got a composite son, Trayvon Martin, a virtual son. What\u2019s deeply personal? He\u2019s got brother that he doesn\u2019t keep. Don Lemon, anchor at CNN last night on a CNN program. This is after Obama had announced it…<\/p>\n

LEMON: As journalists, you know, you weigh whether you — how much you should criticize the president, because he\u2019s black, what have you. But then you have to do it, because ultimately you\u2019re a journalist.<\/p>\n

RUSH: What? What in…? How did that get in here? Don Lemon says you weigh as a journalist whether you could criticize Obama because he\u2019s black, as you announce the My Brother\u2019s Keeper Program? Play that again. This kind of snuck in there. I mean, even these sound bites are sneaking in now to the roster. Listen to this. (replaying of sound bite) Well, when are you gonna start? <\/p>\n

Well, he says here, “As journalists, you know, you weigh whether you — how much you should criticize the president, because he\u2019s black…” Why does that even matter? See, this is the point. The president\u2019s race handcuffs everybody, not just journalists. Republicans, everybody, are scared to death to be critical of even his policy \u2019cause he\u2019s black — and here\u2019s Don Lemon admitting:<\/p>\n

“As journalists, you know, you weigh whether you — how much you should criticize the president, because he\u2019s black, what have you. But then you have to do it, because ultimately you\u2019re a journalist.” Yeah, well, when are you going to start this criticism? ‘Cause, frankly, there isn\u2019t any, Mr. Lemon. Here\u2019s more of Mr. Lemon now saying Obama is acting to help the black community, the reason he\u2019s doing this. <\/p>\n

This is the same guy who just said it\u2019s time now to criticize Obama despite the fact he\u2019s black now explaining why Obama is doing this and… Well, here. Just listen to it.<\/p>\n

LEMON: By taking this on as an initiative, as he has promised to do even beyond his presidency, he can take the politics out of it, and he doesn\u2019t have to worry about some conservative or someone who may be bigoted or racist saying, “Hey, you know, why don\u2019t you do things for white people? You\u2019re the president of everybody.” We get that. He also has a responsibility as a black man to help that from which he came, and that\u2019s from the black community. It was amazing, it was emotional, and it was the most candid I\u2019ve seen the president.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s just unbelievable. A, Obama didn\u2019t come from the black community. He came from a white enclave in Hawaii. Number two, “he doesn\u2019t have to worry about some conservative or someone who may be bigoted or racist,” \u2019cause, see, they all are. All these conservatives, they\u2019re racists and bigots, and it would be racist and bigoted to say, “Hey, why not a brother\u2019s keeper for white kids? Why you leaving them out?” <\/p>\n

<\/a>Well, Obama has to leave them out, because he didn\u2019t come from white kids. He came from the black community, and because of that, he has “a responsibility as a black man” to help the people from whence he came in the black community. There is no journalism anymore. There is no news. Why didn\u2019t this guy win the Cronkite award instead of the three-day-old kid that got it on MSNBC?<\/p>\n

This is embarrassing. “By taking this on as a mission, Obama, because…”? He\u2019s the president of everybody, Mr. Lemon. No, but because he\u2019s black, he can only worry about black kids \u2019cause these conservative bigots and racists can\u2019t question it. You can\u2019t deal with them. Keep in mind here, Dinesh D\u2019Souza, who did a movie on Obama\u2019s brother being still left in the hut and all that, had the FEC sicked on him. Dinesh D\u2019Souza gave him some money, Obama\u2019s brother.<\/a> <\/p>\n

BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n

RUSH: Look, Obama is not down for the struggle, not by his upbringing. He was raised by white grandparents. His white grandmother was “a typical white woman,” but still, in his terms, “a typical white woman,” but he does not come from the hood. They had to get him to rehearse to pronounce “Selma” the right way when he went down there. (interruption) Well, that\u2019s just it. (interruption)<\/p>\n

Well, Snerdley wants to know, “What is it that makes Don Lemon think that Obama\u2019s responsibility is first to black kids and not white kids? Because he didn\u2019t come from where white kids come from, because he came from where black kids come from. So he\u2019s got to, I guess, give something back?” (interruption)<\/p>\n

This is my point. I warned everybody that this presidency was gonna end up being divisive, not unifying. That\u2019s not an inclusive message at all. That is an exclusionary role that Don Lemon is advocating Obama play as president. (interruption) There it is. Everything you need to know about the media coverage, it\u2019s right there in that bite.<\/p>\n

BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n

RUSH: You know, ladies and gentlemen, it\u2019s interesting here. I want to play this bite again, \u2019cause it contains everything you need to know. This describes everything anybody needs to know about the media and the way Obama is viewed, covered, reported on. Even Mediaite — which is sort of a media review or analysis site. They sit there and they kind of repeat the highlights of what happened in the media all over the place.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s leftist oriented, as everything in the media is, but even their headline on this Don Lemon sound bite that we just played is this: “CNN\u2019s Don Lemon: Yesterday Obama ‘Became the Black President,'” and that\u2019s right, according to Don Lemon, the black president. From the article: “CNN anchor Don Lemon became visibly emotional on Thursday after President Barack Obama announced an initiative aimed at helping minority youth to graduate from high school and train for careers.<\/p>\n

“On Friday, Lemon expanded on his impressions, telling CNN anchor [the Limbaugh Stalker] Carol Costello that Obama ‘became the black president\u2019 in that moment.” See, he wasn\u2019t the black president until that. See, up \u2019til now, Obama hasn\u2019t been showing the proper favoritism. But now, since Obama doesn\u2019t have to worry about these conservative racist bigots anymore, \u2019cause he doesn\u2019t have to run for reelection, now he can do what he really wants to do.<\/p>\n

He can do what he should have been doing all along. He can do what he\u2019s always wanted to do and reach out and favor the black population — and it\u2019s about damn time, they think. This is exactly why he was elected, to help the black population. Now, you might be thinking, “What would happen if Bush or Romney — take your pick of any Republican president — said, ‘Today I\u2019m going to have a brother\u2019s keeper\u2019s program aimed specifically at our white children\u2019?”<\/p>\n

There would be national outcry. “How dare you!” Do not be sure that this bunch wouldn\u2019t also do that, if they\u2019re gonna do a black-only outreach, up-reach. I\u2019m not predicting it, but let me ask: Would you be surprised if you heard somebody in this Regime say that we were going to have a program designed to teach young white children about racism and its evils and do our best to eradicate it from the way they think? <\/line><\/p>\n

That would not surprise me at all if this Regime did that. Now, here\u2019s what everybody needs to know. The reason this is being done, and the reason Don Lemon\u2019s applauded, is because blacks have been disadvantaged from the days of the founding. This has been a white-dominated culture, and this is long overdue. This favoritism is needed to finally even and level the playing field, because this is evidence of how unjust and unequal this country\u2019s been. <\/p>\n

So we are going to spend a little time on this brother\u2019s keepers program for minority kids to help them overcome the bigoted racist discrimination they face every day in this country. That is what\u2019s being applauded. (interruption) What\u2019s the question? (interruption) Yes. Mmm-hmm. Mmm-hmm. (interruption) No idea. I don\u2019t know. Snerdley wants to know, “Do you think most black kids would prefer this program or an economy creating jobs?” I don\u2019t have the answer.<\/p>\n

In the old days, the answer would be jobs, but you look at teenage black unemployment. What, is in the 40 percents now? Look at the black abortion levels, the rates that we\u2019ve been talking, 65,000 pregnancies, black pregnancies in New York City in 2012, and 24,000 “survived,” if I may put it that way. It\u2019s 65,000 black pregnancies in New York City in 2012 and 24,000 births. The others were aborted. <\/p>\n

Yeah, there\u2019s all that white racism going on out there, folks. These white bigot conservatives are out there sponsoring abortion, right? So we gotta get to the youth of the minority community and we gotta warn them about these white conservatives \u2019cause they\u2019re encouraging what? All this horrible stuff. Here\u2019s the Don Lemon sound bite again. Again, this just tells you everything you need to know about how the media.<\/p>\n

Ah, hell. There is no media. <\/p>\n

How the left looks at Obama and what they think the meaning of his election is and was, what he was really elected to do, finally now, he\u2019s doing it! After six years, finally he has become the black president. (replaying of sound bite) Yeah, of course. It\u2019s to turn out the vote, just like the War on Women. This is damaging because did you hear, “Yeah, yeah. He\u2019s president of everybody. Yeah, we get that,” like, “Big deal! BFD! That doesn\u2019t matter. He\u2019s not president of everybody. <\/p>\n

“He is the black president. He owes it to the black population to do things for them,” and what is that, by the way? Just exactly how have they benefited, dare I ask? So now another meaningless platitudinous Obama program, like the 35 jobs programs that came before. Now here we go with a “brother\u2019s keepers” program that\u2019s gonna do what? (interruption) All it\u2019s gonna do is get this slavish, groupie-type response from the media. So it\u2019s a PR push.<\/p>\n

Okay. Here\u2019s Obama announcing the My Brother\u2019s Keeper initiative — and, you know, this is deeply personal. “Oh, this is Obama being Obama! Finally, this is who the guy is! This is who we elected. This is what we wanted from him all long — oh, God! — and he\u2019s finally delivered. It\u2019s a glorious day. (sobbing) Oh, my God, we can\u2019t even contain ourselves, we\u2019re so happy and so fulfilled. Oh, my God! Oh, my God!” Here\u2019s what generated that…<\/line><\/p>\n

OBAMA: When I was their age, I was a lot like them. I didn\u2019t have a dad in the house, and I was angry about it even though I didn\u2019t necessarily realize it at the time.<\/p>\n

RUSH: He wrote a book about it.<\/p>\n

OBAMA: I made bad choices. I got high without always thinking about the harm that it could do.<\/p>\n

RUSH: “Deeply personal.”<\/p>\n

OBAMA: I didn\u2019t always take school as seriously as I should have.<\/p>\n

RUSH: He flunked out.<\/p>\n

OBAMA: I made excuses, sometimes sold myself short. I could see myself in these young men, and the only difference is that I grew up in an environment that was a little bit more forgiving. So when I made a mistake, the consequences were not as severe.<\/p>\n

RUSH: What environment was that? What “environment” did he grow up in that was “more forgiving”? Hawaii and his white grandmother? Frank Marshall Davis? Well, “the consequences were not as severe.” Hmm. (Media impression) “Well, this is deeply personal, you see? “This is deeply personal. This is deeply personal. Oh, man, we\u2019re now getting deep down! I mean, the president\u2019s really revealing himself in a way. Oh, my God, we can\u2019t contain ourselves! Oh, jeez, do you realize what he\u2019s going to do for the black kids and the Hispanic kids? Oh, my God, do you realize the future he\u2019s paving for them with this speech? Oh, oh, God! We can\u2019t contain ourselves!”<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s more of it…<\/p>\n

OBAMA: In the aftermath of the Trayvon Martin verdict, with all the emotions and controversy that it sparked, I spoke about the need to bolster and reinforce our young men and give them the sense —<\/p>\n

FOLLOWERS: (applause)<\/p>\n

OBAMA: — that their country cares about them and values them and is willing to invest in them, and I\u2019m grateful that Trayvon\u2019s parents, Sabrina and Tracy are here with us today, along with Jordan Davis\u2019 parents, uh, Lucy and Ron.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Was Beyonce there? You know, with the Lewinsky dress?<\/a> Well, as long as we\u2019re trying to set examples here, folks.<\/p>\n

BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n

RUSH: You know, one thing as I listen to Don Lemon. Wait \u2019til Bill Clinton finds out he wasn\u2019t the first black president. Don Lemon has just named Obama “finally.” Finally. That\u2019s blatant racism, by the way, folks, what you\u2019re hearing from Don Lemon and the way this whole thing. That\u2019s racism. Now, they will tell you that they\u2019re not capable of being racist \u2019cause they\u2019re the minority — and, as such, racism without power isn\u2019t racism. <\/p>\n

They don\u2019t have the power to make their racism hurt anybody, so they not racists. This is the Reverend Jackson theory, that the minorities can\u2019t be racist, because they don\u2019t have any power. Only the whites could be racist \u2019cause they got the power to beat you upside the head. Minorities don\u2019t have any power, so they can\u2019t be racist.
