RUSH: “A coalition of black pastors announced on Tuesday at the National Press Club in Washington, DC, that they are launching a campaign to gather one million signatures on a petition calling for the impeachment of Attorney General Eric Holder…”<\/p>\n

Black preachers are going after the first African-American attorney general, Eric Holder. You know why? They claim on their petition for impeachment that he has been violating his oath of office by trying “to coerce states to fall in line with the same-sex ‘marriage\u2019 agenda. ‘President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder have turned their backs on the values the American people hold dear, values particularly cherished in the black community:<\/p>\n

“Values like marriage, which should be strengthened and promoted, rather than weakened and undermined,” says a statement by the Coalition of African American Pastors that has been posted online with their impeachment petition.” That\u2019s what they claim. I think this is amazing. Black pastors get this! There\u2019s not one Republican. Maybe they get it. They don\u2019t have the… the… the desire. Let\u2019s just leave it at that. They don\u2019t have the desire to go after Obama on his extra-constitutionality. <\/line><\/p>\n

They don\u2019t have the desire to go after Eric Holder on his behavior outside the Constitution. In addition, there are 100 pastors here in Michigan. These guys, these black pastors want to impeach Holder. Here\u2019s a pull quote: “I write today to urge you to take immediate action against the Attorney General of the United States for his lawless attempts to undermine states sovereign laws regarding marriage.<\/p>\n

“Attorney General Holder should be impeached for abandoning his duty to uphold and defend the law and for pushing a radical agenda on the states in a manner out of keeping with the obligations of his office. I urge you to bring impeachment against Eric Holder for his reckless attempts to undermine our states\u2019 constitutional marriage laws and the voices and values of millions of voters.” As a sideline related issue, are you aware of what\u2019s going on in Uganda? <\/p>\n

Uganda, of course, is a nation of black people in Africa. “A Ugandan newspaper has published a list of what it called the country\u2019s 200 top homosexuals, outing some who previously had not identified themselves as gay, a day after the president enacted a harsh anti-gay law. The US secretary of state, John Kerry, said the signing of the bill by President Yoweri Museveni on Monday marked ‘a tragic day for Uganda and for all who care about the cause of human rights\u2019, and warned that Washington could cut aid.<\/p>\n

<\/a>“‘Now that this law has been enacted, we are beginning an internal review of our relationship with the government of Uganda to ensure that all dimensions of our,'” blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, “Kerry said in a statement. … “Uganda\u2019s new-anti-gay law punishes gay sex with up to life in jail. The bill originally proposed the death penalty for ‘aggravated homosexuality,\u2019 defined as repeated gay sex between consenting adults and acts involving a minor, a disabled person or where one partner is infected with HIV.<\/p>\n

“First-time offenders also face life in jail, contrary to an earlier version of the bill that mentioned a 14-year jail term. The new law also creates the offenses of ‘conspiracy to commit homosexuality\u2019 as well as ‘aiding and abetting homosexuality,\u2019 both of which are punishable with a seven-year jail term. Those convicted of ‘promoting homosexuality\u2019 face similar punishment. In signing the bill, [president of Uganda] Museveni said the measure is needed because the West [i.e., America and the UK] is promoting homosexuality in Africa, rejecting international criticism of the law as interference in Uganda\u2019s internal affairs. …<\/p>\n

“The Ugandan law — which came just over a month after Nigeria passed a similar measure against gays — has been condemned around the world, although it is widely popular among Ugandans.” So, so the plot thickens here. What\u2019s Obama gonna do? They\u2019re gonna \u2019em off. No more aid to Uganda. I mean, these guys might actually be wishing for the old days, with Idi Amin Dada. Idi Amin was nothing compared to this. But Uganda\u2019s being singled out. They\u2019re a Christian nation, but Uganda\u2019s not the only nation with laws like this. (interruption)<\/p>\n

Well, I know Nigeria; but try at any Muslim country! (interruption) What do you mean, “Oh, no”? Any Muslim country\u2019s gonna have pretty much the same law. Remember old Ahmadinejad, Columbia. You may have forgotten this. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad came to the United Nations one year, and he was loved and adored because the media and America hated George Bush. Bush was the bad guy, and the president of Iran was the good guy. So he comes to the UN one October and he is invited to speak to the students at Columbia University. He accepts. He goes over there. He makes his speech. During a Q&A a student stands up and asks him about homosexuality in Iran. He says, “We don\u2019t have that.” And they start laughing. The student body starts laughing. He says, “What do you mean? We don\u2019t have that.” <\/line><\/p>\n

And the students, “Are you kidding?” <\/p>\n

He says, “No, we don\u2019t. Do you know of one? Can you tell me where he lives?” Ahmadinejad wanted to know if somebody in the Columbia audience knew somebody gay in Iran, and, furthermore, where they could be found. It just isn\u2019t Uganda and it isn\u2019t just Nigeria, it\u2019s every Muslim country. But you just don\u2019t see this kind of attack on the Muslim nations, do you? No, I do happen to be right about this. Don\u2019t anybody misunderstand. I\u2019m not sitting here supporting this crazy law in Uganda. That\u2019s not what I\u2019m doing here. It\u2019s just the selective outrage. Perfectly fine to be mad at the backwards, all of a sudden backwards, antiquated African-American nation of Uganda, but we\u2019re gonna leave alone every Muslim nation which has the same, for all practical purposes, laws.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah, Rush. Keep the faith. You know, this Regime\u2019s agenda, when they\u2019re trying to export abortion rights and homosexual rights, it seems to me this is a colonist agenda that we\u2019re trying to force people to accept our worldview, our beliefs, trying to force it down our throats.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Like who and what?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, isn\u2019t that definition of colonialism when you do that?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, I mean, who? Who are we trying to force our view of gay rights on? I\u2019m not arguing with you. I\u2019m just not looking at it the way you are. I\u2019m trying to understand what your point is.<\/p>\n

CALLER: They\u2019re forcing countries to accept the liberal worldview on every issue — and not only them, they\u2019re trying to export it from the Washington seaboard, the Atlantic seaboard over what they call “flyover country.” Everybody else is supposed to be indoctrinated into their agenda.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, yeah.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, I specifically called it “colonialism” because that\u2019s what this is supposedly fighting against, but it\u2019s not.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, colonialism involves other countries.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, they treat us like another country. They treat us like a different country. You know. Both coasts do.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Are you talking about Uganda by any chance?<\/p>\n

CALLER: I\u2019m talking about Uganda, Kenya, and some of these other countries. We\u2019re trying to force them to accept gay rights and abortion rights, but also the heartland of America where the West Coast and the East Coast are trying to force us, you know, all the time.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, well, that\u2019s where I\u2019ve been confused. That\u2019s not colonialism. That\u2019s statism. This is authoritarianism. This is the Regime behaving extraconstitutionally with executive orders, Obama doing everything he can to force their agenda on everybody, unelected, whether the law has been passed or not — and the laws that have been passed are ignored. Laws that haven\u2019t been passed are enacted. Yeah. There\u2019s no question that\u2019s what Obama\u2019s doing. No doubt about it. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
