RUSH: The news in the Health Care Stack today? It is devastating. This website isn\u2019t going to be ready by November 30th. In fact, almost, what is it, 30, 40% of it hasn\u2019t even been built yet. And we\u2019ve got security experts talking about that this is the biggest collection of personal private data any of them have ever seen. Security experts are warning everybody to stay away from HealthCare.gov. All it is, is a vacuum cleaner for every piece of data you enter about yourself. It is just devastating out there.<\/line><\/p>\n

“Top Obamacare IT Official Says 30-40% of the Federal Exchange System Hasn\u2019t Been Built Yet — In a congressional hearing today, Henry Chao, the Deputy Chief Information Officers for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, told Rep Cory Gardner (R-Co.) that 30-40% of Obamacare\u2019s Marketplace — the federal insurance exchange system that covers 36 states — has not been built yet,” and they\u2019re out telling everybody that it\u2019s gonna ready by November 30th. <\/p>\n

Jay Carney, the spokeskid\u2019s out saying, “Well, 80%? That\u2019s a good goal. We\u2019re shooting for if 80% of people that want to sign up get to sign up.” Fine. By the way, the new number is 106,000 people who signed up. That\u2019s what the feds say. The Regime says 106,000 people have enrolled. You know what the real number is of people who have closed the deal, actually clicked “purchase” in their shopping cart in that website? It\u2019s 27,000, total. It\u2019s 27,000 people, and you know who they are? <\/p>\n

The vast majority of \u2019em are seasoned citizens. The people that the Regime needs signing up are getting nowhere near it. Young people who are not gonna be making a lot of claims because they\u2019re healthy, they are not signing up. It is an absolute disaster. This is from the AP. “Health Website to Remain a Work in Progress.” They promised the website would be fixed no matter what by November 30th. Now Kathleen Sebelius, the secretary of Health and Human Services, says she doesn\u2019t even consider that deadline “a magic go, no-go date.”<\/p>\n

It\u2019s just a date they chose. There\u2019s nothing magic about that. They\u2019re walking it back now. So what do we have? Well, 30 to 40% hasn\u2019t even been built, it is a security nightmare, and IT experts are saying don\u2019t get anywhere near that website because all they\u2019re doing is collecting your personal data. It\u2019s the biggest data collection website people say they\u2019ve ever seen. It\u2019s not gonna be fixed by November 30th. Only 27,000 people have actually closed the deal and bought something there.<\/line><\/p>\n

“Not only is HealthCare.gov at risk, it may already have been compromised, a security expert testified before the Senate. ‘Hackers are definitely after it,\u2019 said David Kennedy, CEO of information security firm TrustedSEC before a House Science, Space, and Technology committee hearing … ‘And if I had to guess, based on what I can see \u00c2\u2026 I would say the website is either hacked already or will be soon.'” So it\u2019s a security nightmare on two fronts.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s collecting data like people haven\u2019t seen, and it may have already been hacked. It\u2019s an absolute disaster. There is no fixing it. The federal government can\u2019t do it. <\/p>\n

Thomas B. Edsall, do you remember him?<\/a> Thomas B. Edsall used to write at the Washington Post and now does occasional op-ed pieces at the New York Times. He\u2019s the guy we\u2019ve quoted a couple of times. During the 2012 campaign he wrote in the November prior to the election, a year prior, that the Obama administration had written off white working families as a campaign strategy. They were just gonna go the Santa Claus route<\/a>. They\u2019d written \u2019em off because they knew those people were not for them. So we\u2019ve quoted him a couple of times. <\/p>\n

He\u2019s got a big piece out today. He\u2019s wringing his hands over the reality that maybe the government just can\u2019t do this. Maybe the government, maybe this is just too big. And he\u2019s beside himself. I\u2019m telling you they\u2019re terrified. “Come on, Rush, these are adults, these are statists, they\u2019re neostatists, they\u2019re authoritarians.” <\/p>\n

They are also the biggest bunch of arrogant ego freaks you\u2019ve ever run into, and they do not live in the same reality. Folks, they have exalted opinions of themselves. These are theorists, as I have said countless times, sitting around the faculty lounge talking about how rotten and unfair and mean and cruel and all that the private sector is and how they have all the answers. And if they ever got their hands on it, they\u2019d fix it, it would work like a charm and it would be fair and equitable. And now they\u2019ve done it, and it isn\u2019t working, none of it. In fact, these hard-core leftists, have you noticed they\u2019re angry all the time anyway, even when it appears to us that they\u2019re winning? <\/p>\n

One of the reasons why, is it not yet apparent that what they believe doesn\u2019t work? You have to understand now, a lot of rank-and-file leftists like that stupid ignoramus seminar caller we had and others like him out there who buy everything the liberal establishment tells them, they really believe it\u2019s gonna be a better world. They really believe everybody\u2019s gonna make a hundred grand, and if nobody does, nobody else will. They really believe that the end of racism can be made, and the end of discrimination, unfairness, the end of bullying, they really believe all this. And when they elected Obama they really thought that was there gonna be a new day, a utopia, they do. These people, who are what I call the rank-and-file, low-information left, really buy this stuff.<\/p>\n

This is the greatest opportunity they\u2019ve had since FDR to realize their utopian dream, and all we have is an absolute mess with more partisan division in this country than many of them can remember. It isn\u2019t working. None of it is working. Obamacare isn\u2019t working. The government is not working. People are out of work. Their utopian dream is crumbling right before their very eyes. And they\u2019re angry to begin with every day and they\u2019re just angrier than usual with all of this on top of that. And then with Obama\u2019s approval numbers plummeting, I guarantee you they\u2019re terrified. This is not at all how this was supposed to go.<\/p>\n

RUSH: And here we go from TheHill.com. “President Obama\u00c2\u2019s relationship with congressional Democrats has worsened to an unprecedented low, Democratic aides say. They are letting it be known that House and Senate Democrats are increasingly frustrated, bitter and angry with the White House over ObamaCare\u00c2\u2019s botched rollout, and that the president\u00c2\u2019s mea culpa in a news conference last week failed to soothe any ill will. … One congressional chief of staff said, ‘This is so screwed up. This either gets fixed or this could be the demise of the Democratic Party.'”<\/line><\/p>\n

Now, folks, this is what I mean. I know you\u2019re sitting there thinking, “Come on, Rush, it isn\u2019t gonna be the demise of the Democrat Party. They have the media, and Obama\u2019s not running for reelection, and he\u2019s not gonna back off. He\u2019s gonna still force all this stuff down our throats.” True. The point is the Democrats are terrified. You gotta understand where they come from. They never tell people the truth, other than in safe states or districts. I mean, the number of times that a Democrat will run like Elizabeth Warren did, you can count \u2019em on one hand. Most Democrats run like Obama: centrist, slightly right wing on certain things, talking about the private sector and hard work and all that. <\/p>\n

It\u2019s very rare that you have a liberal run as an unabashed liberal. They have to lie about it. They have to mask who they are. And in order for them to survive and thrive, they have to keep that up. That\u2019s what the Limbaugh Theorem explains about Obama. The way he insulates himself from accountability is to pretend that he\u2019s had nothing to do with any of this, when he is the architect of all of it. <\/p>\n

So the reason they\u2019re panicking is the people are figuring out who they are and how they botch things, their incompetence, their ideology, they\u2019re figuring it out on their own. It\u2019s not the result of being talked to or being persuaded. So when this Democrat congressional chief of staff says, “This could be the demise of the Democrat Party,” what he means is that they live in perpetual fear of people learning the truth about \u2019em. I mean, the great advantage they have in the media being just a branch of the Democrat Party is to help cover up who they really are and to portray for people a totally false image of what the modern day Democrat is.<\/p>\n

I guarantee you, had Obama campaigned on any of this, he wouldn\u2019t have gotten elected. Look at the Washington Post poll. This came out yesterday, the day before. If the election were today, Romney would win big. And there wasn\u2019t one thing in there about the Hispanic vote or any of that. Romney would win big because the American people don\u2019t want any of this, and it\u2019s the media that enables the Democrats to keep getting away with putting forth a false front and a fake image of who they are.
