RUSH: I want to go back to the Jon Stewart interview of Kathleen Sebelius<\/a>. If you boil that down, you know what it was about? Jon Stewart just figured out — and he had to learn this from New Media because his buddies in the Drive-Bys are not reporting this. He was very upset with Kathleen Sebelius, Health and Human Services secretary, he learned Big Business got a year\u2019s delay on the employer mandate, so they\u2019ve been given a grace period of one year. They don\u2019t have to provide their employees health care. But then he learned that the individual mandate stays intact. We, the little guy, are required by law to have insurance or pay a fine, and he wanted to know why in the world, if business gets a break, the little guy doesn\u2019t get a break. And Kathleen Sebelius lied to him. <\/p>\n

She lied to him about how many part-time workers there are. She said the number is going down, and it isn\u2019t. The number is skyrocketing. In fact, most job creation today, 70% of new jobs are part-time jobs. That doesn\u2019t count jobs, full-time being converted to part-time under 30 hours so that businesses escape the responsibility, and she lied to him, and he finally figured that out and was not comfortable by it and he felt guilty pointing it out. He said (summarizing), “It\u2019s very tough to defend something here that you\u2019re lying to me about.” <\/p>\n

Well, so this subject came up on MSNBC yesterday when Andrea Mitchell, NBC News, Washington, had as her guest Sean Duffy, a Republican member of Congress from Wisconsin. Now, we\u2019re breaching our ban on what happens on MSNBC. Basically that\u2019s mostly a prime time ban. Well, it was prime time that inspired the ban, and then the ban was just extended to the whole network. And I have not lifted the ban. Oh, let me tell you something. The reason why I stopped, why publicize that crap? They\u2019ve got some host, I gotta be real careful here. I want you to know that I\u2019m employing fabulous discipline right now. <\/p>\n

They have people that are now openly blaming the Constitution for what\u2019s happening. The Constitution\u2019s a problem, the fact that the Constitution limits Obama from just fixing this stuff. I mean, it\u2019s really dangerous stuff. These people are some of the most arrogant, condescending smart alecks, but they\u2019re just pure ignorant, and they fit the bill of people who have no love and no respect for the founding of this country. They believe in total centralized power. They believe in dictatorial power by the president, when he is one of them. They\u2019re wringing their hands over the fact that the Constitution is the problem here. The only reason we\u2019re in this mess is our damn Constitution. <\/p>\n

Why air this crap? You know, it\u2019s not even worth any entertainment value anymore. So I instituted the ban, and I\u2019m gonna tell you, folks, I don\u2019t normally take credit for things and I don\u2019t know that in this case it\u2019s justified, but the moment we instituted that ban, their numbers just plummeted, and they\u2019re in the cellar, asterisks in many cases. So it worked in that sense. You people would never watch that network, so why should I play stuff on it for you that amplifies what happens there? I mean, you don\u2019t need to hear it to know what liberals think. And I just decided, why should I turn over portions of this program to those nutcases, even if it is just to laugh at \u2019em? ‘Cause after a while it wasn\u2019t even funny. It was just really frustrating. <\/p>\n

So the ban\u2019s been in place for well over a year, maybe longer than that. But something happened yesterday with Andrea Mitchell that we\u2019re gonna lift the ban. Wisconsin Republican, Sean Duffy was a guest with Andrea Mitchell, and it starts this way. She said, “Why not sit down and negotiate over entitlement reform, which is something that you all have been demanding, and that Obama\u2019s offered in his initial budget. I mean, you\u2019re putting on the table a nonnegotiable demand,” meaning the defunding of Obamacare.<\/p>\n

DUFFY: The media won\u2019t even ask the question about why are you treating families different than big businesses. You need Jon Stewart on Comedy Central to ask Secretary Sebelius, “Hey, why won\u2019t you treat these two equally?” and she can\u2019t answer it. I mean, that\u2019s how pathetic I think news reporting has become, when we won\u2019t ask tough questions to the administration.<\/p>\n

MITCHELL: Well, we\u2019ve asked questions to both sides. That\u2019s not fair.<\/p>\n

DUFFY: Do you ask that question, Andrea? Ask the question.<\/p>\n

MITCHELL: We have asked that question.<\/p>\n
